Strange I found GTAIV bland and boring, despite the new functions. I don't think its good enough giving players a sandbox game and saying go nuts.
Thats why I'm looking forward to LA. A game where there is structure a roll for the players to fill. I think it will definatly improve on the sandbox game, which to me began to feel 'meh' after vice city.

At some point after COD4, Tryarch developed their own engine for W@W. It was based on the COD4 engine but is essentially theirs, although i belive it does share some technology.
So now we have 2 engines, IW's COD4 & Trey's W@W.
When it came to MW2 they didn't use any of W@W's engine, they just developed COD4's.
For Blackops Tryarch used W@W as the base engine and developed from there.

I heard all COD games were going to use Treyarch's engine (W@W BLOPS) from now on? Is this wrong? I hope so, MW2 engine was much better.
What about the millions of people playing and hiving fun? Why ruin it for them jsut becuase you don't like a game, it makes no sense whatsoever. Leave people who enjoy the game to play it.

Call of duty will be the biggest game on next year. If you read the article they predicted lower sales with BO. They are just planning ahead for the financial year, its better to underestimate and get more than over estimate and get less.
MW3 will be huge, lets hope BF3 will be just as big :).
What can be better for gammers than more AAA games.
Interesting to find out how the investigation;s into crimes will work out. There needs to be a good balance between accessability and progressin your thinking, but nothing too spoon fed, IE no makers saying "hey why dont u just look here there might be a clue". I want it so that I'm doing the detective work, no prompted by the game. Can't wait.

From that video dirt 3 looks much better, the lighting the dust being kicked up, OMG destructable scenary. The car looks real, not like the life-less pixel perfect "premium" cars of GT5, remember most of the cars in GT5 looks shite!
