The animations will be mo-cap (motion capture). Why go through capturing the same animations when you already have them.
The animation is just the wireframe movement, on which they will skin and add effects. Graphics and effects are much more important. It's difficult to tell from the reveal if anything's actually improved.

But as is the case with COD you can still party up with friends who don't have the DLC, just those maps are disabled.
They could ahve quite easily forced a split, thus putting more pressure on people buy DLC. But they didnt instead we can all still paly together.
Plenty of my friends dont have DLC, but it doesn't bother me.

You must be missing on quite alot of games seeing as most come with DLC now, especially the big ones.
I own all 3 consoles and a gaming PC and find myself stuck firmly in the middle defending all 4 gaming platforms (actually make that 3, the wii is rubbish).
