COD series needs a revolution not an evolution.
Its time to innovate and really push the new next gen consoles, not just in graphics, but scale, details, physics, tactics, AI.

I think this is the reason for the xbox one price drop. Get as many people to buy it before they realise it's not up to scratch compared to the PS4.
I bought a xbone on launch and I'm dissapointed by its comparitive performance. The only saving grace are the games for it.
Problem is I didn't really like Titan Fall, so now I'm doomed to play multiplat games at 720p ~ 900p.

I didn't say it wasn't fun, but people harping on about how new, fresh and innovative Titian Fall is is just marketing/media bullshit.
Its a COD clone with a few tweaks. Give it a few years of milking and everyone will be crying about the EA's cash cow.

Agree, game is over hyped and its just an adrenalin fuled shooter, sometimes you get to jump higher, sometimes you get to run around quicker.
Respawn are quite clever, they took COD, gave it a makeover added a couple of new features and everyones wetting themselves over it like its Half Life 3.

Its quite clear the game publishers/developers aren't willing to invest in a game to have it comepleted done by release date.
What most companies do it run some kind of alpha/beta pre-release and work on it as they go, Project CARS is a prime example, you buy into the the developemtn and get regular releases.
It seems some publishers jut put out the game under the guise of a finsihed product with the knowlege that they will fix the development of the game...
More like to patch the patch of pathch for the other patches that patched the patch of the original patch.

Also if you take new games for consoles they are much below the potential of the console. It takes a couple of years to unleash the full power.
GTA 4 and GTA 5 for example.
Also I can image if you're creating a game for old and new generation there will be comprimises on the new gen version.
Same happened with Console to PC ports.
