I thought it was mimed anyway, didnt think it was a big deal. If anyones done a tech demo they know how easy it can go wrong.

Looks very similar to AmrA II only with some tagged on features.
Technically Arma/ArmaII was a great game, but it was alsmot too big and open. Its great for the hardcore shooter community, but I'd like to see some more emphasis on multiplyer, this should be an MMO FPS, the scale and varity is there, it would be brilliant if they could somehow work in massive multiplayer battles in the game and make it accessable. (I knwo there are communities with 100+ battle servers but ...
As a big COD fan I'm getting less and less interested in MW3 MP, and more and more interested in BF3 MP.
BF3 looks to be moving towards a more fast paced game but keeping all the squad and team play aspects whcih is brilliant.
I'm sure once MW3 reasle some MP info I'll be hyped again.
BF3 & MW3 are both day 1 buys for me, bring on the winter!

Another COD fan here and I'm 27. I have a casual XBOX clan and our ages range from 22 to 40, we play everything from Forza, to COD to BF:BC2, but mainly MW2/Blops at the mo.
There seems to be a tendancy to to tar all COD players with the same brush wich irk's me some what. Seeing as I'm a COD player but also play FPS which are far more mature than COD and BF, like ARMA and Red Orchestra.
There are problems with COD and these should be voiced, but ...
What about people who play both, as far as I know most of the people I know have COD + BF:BC, and are planning to get MW3 and BF3?
Agree, wish the guns just had it inbuilt so we can use other perks.

Yeah need to see hwo good the content of Elite is, hopefully we'll get more info in the beta.
By all means I'm not sold on Elite yet.
We just need to see what the price is. Map packs are included in Elite, 3 maps packs are normally released a year, costing in total £30 in the uk at least, which works out at about £2.50 a month.
If you factor in that £2.50 a month for just the map packs and Activision plan on keeping the monthly cost under £5, it might not work out to be that exspensive.
Will have to wait for the beta and prices though before I make any decisions.
