They look good to me, but you can see they are just test modles, most likely from the PC version too due to the high res, but deffo developer stuff.
I'd rather take installs/disc swaps for extra content that isn't DLC!
Does anyone know if you can install the data from all 3 discs and not do any sawpping on the 360?
Like people have said, its not a problem, if it came on 1 disc it would mean less content, and what with cross-plat games all being the same the PS3's version would have been 2 thirds smaller.
So PS3 owners should be chuffed, we swap so they can fill your lovely Blue-ray.

The result set is so small that it could just be a blip, or coincidance, no where near enough data to prove that its related to PS3 downtime.

Did it? Its not the MW3 ethos though, unless its simlar to KillZones FPS cover system, not over the boulder view.
COD devs have always stated that a cover system wouldnt work in COD as its suposed to be a fast and flowing game, cover systems make movement clunky and stop-startish.
We'll have to wait and see I guess :)
Sounds like BS to me, no way will the be a cover system for starters.
Its more tounge in cheek, the fact they acknowlege another game shows that it must see it in some higher stature, otherwise they wouldn't mention it.
If anything it's just pandering to the kids on N4G.
If anything the dev's dont come up with this stuff anyway, more likely the PR and marketing guys.
Im pretty sure if you sat down with the actual developers they would tell you they actually repect COD, maybe enjoy playing it.
Really, I havn't really noticed any of that. And them talking of de-throing COD, must mean they see COD in a good position and want to be better than them, thats them wanting to be the best, essentialy saying at the moment COD are the most successful but they want to be better.

Really? Developers arn't fanboys, they more than likely respect eachothers work, instead of rag on it all the time like the kids on N4G.
easy there tiger, the engine is only 4 years old. And its built for stability, side by side its looks better than BF:BC's engine, but BF:BC's scale is much bigger and has destruction, but its still clearer and crisper.
COD's engine is designed to run at 60FPS on console hardware, I doubt there is much they can do until a new console is released.
Will be good to see BF3's engine on the console to see what they can squeeze out, but I bet you it ...

Agree, I've had both consoles and and PC for gaming, though the PS3 had been gathering dust for a while even before the PSN outage, I only use it for PS3 exsclusives.
I play my xbox online nearly everyday I wouldnt be happy even if it was down for a day. Though it is paid for but I guess thats what you get for a paid service, reliability.

Yes at a reduced price, unless the MP experiance is even bigger and better, IE you pay full price, but the MP has the extra development time that would have been spent on SP.
So that would be, more weapons, maps, customization, equipment, levels, prestiges, killstreaks etc.
Its all leaked development work, theres nothing really "in game" so no lighting or other special effects.
If you check the actaul weapon models you'll see they are just as good as the weapons in BF3.
Will be interesting to see what they look like in game.
