I'm sure she will be buying plenty of games for it. She was considering getting one herself not to long ago because of a certain game which i forget off the top of my head. White Knight Chronicles maybe? Either way not the point.
She is a otaku as well so there is no way she is going to let a PS3 sit there and not play it. I'm sure it will get plenty of use.
The whole point is that Shoko-tan is a goddess among otaku in Japan and when she does something it often influences what a very large number of people do as well. So the fact that it's common knowledge now that she owns a PS3 we very well may see a surge in sales as her fans rush out to buy one.
I have to say I love the games Jaffe makes but the guy is a a$$ hole. He talks crap about so many things and while his games are god they are not godly or anything so he doesn't really have the right to say some of the stuff he says at some points.
Would they sell more copies of the game if they released the game on the 360 in Japan? Of course. Would the amount be enough to warrent spending the money on releasing it on the 360 in Japan? No way in hell. Which is why it's PS3 exclusive in Japan and 99% chance says it stays like that. The PS3 has a much larger install base in Japan.
That install base is also likely to jump a massive amount upon Final Fantasy XIII's release we already saw a jump in sales when Advent Children Co...
it's a NIS game they are not famous for graphics they are famous for making FUN games plain and simple graphics and secondary.
If you care only about how something looks then go watch a movie or look at a playboy and stop playing games because you are missing out on some great games.
The graphics engine on its own may not be that impressive but I like the realistic art style the game has over cartoony fare like WoW and Warhammer.
When you take into account the fact that the game is as old as it is and that it was designed for PS2 it's actually quite shocking how good the PC version looks when all the settings are all the way up.
No idea what you are talking about. I am playing the game now and I see almost no one leveling Samurai or Red mage and I highly doubt you can get either job to 75 in a week unless you have no life and sacrifice eating sleeping and bathing. Even then you would have to get incredibly lucky and get really really good parties or it would never happen.
Pretty much every version update for the last year and a half has had something in it that helps the balance of the game and the more ...
Yeah that's true. You would spend awhile trying to solve a puzzle and when you finally figure it out the battery would die and you would be screwed. Yeah I think I will stick with the PC version.
This is one of the FEW games that i can think of that would play well on iPhone. However it's not exactly the type of game you play on the go as it has incredibly complex and challenging puzzles and that's not exactly the type of game you play on the go.
At the end of the day I would much rather be playing the PC version.
Personally I could care less if the game "Looks" good. If the game is fun(And what NIS game isn't) Then it's a buy and many gamers think the same. Graphics are not everything. I mean Look at Disgaea 3 it looks just the same as Disgaea 1 and 2 but is still a incredible game and I am still playing it to this day.
I would say that the game is no longer in decline anymore. In fact it's safe to say that the game is growing at this point in terms of player base. I'm a 5 year vet of FFXI and I recently took a break for about 6 months but upon coming back I found that all the lower levels areas are now packed with players new and old alike.
This is thanks in no small part to some of the new updates SE has been adding into the game like Training Regimes which basically allow you to solo any job ...
Well this is SHOCKING!!! NOT!! Common sense said this would happen.
I will say this though. If the PS3 version does not have the Japanese voice track because the 360 version lacked the space to have one then that will be proof that the Xbox version is gimping the PS3 version in someway. No matter what people say there are a large portion of gamers out there who would rather play the game with the original Japanese voices and if the Xbox version prevents that you can expect alot of anger...
That's because the games being released on portable are games from square whereas the games being released on console are games being published by square meaning they have no involvement in the development of those games with the exception of The Last Remnant which was made by the Saga Team a known hit or miss team and still even then alot of people agree had it not been for the horrible technical issues brought on by the Unreal Engine The Last Remnant really would have been a ok game.
...
First off no. The Iphone may have games but it's the most horrible playing experience ever thanks to the fact that there is no controls. Apple thrives on making some stupid gimmick for their products or just massively over pricing them and seeing as how Nintendo has the Gimmick of motion control down and no one will buy a massively overpriced apple console yeah it wont happen.
Not to mention we don't need another console.
Looks awesome I will be sure to add it to my collection upon it's release. At the moment it has no release date and is not up for pre order and no price either.
The only info I can give is that it's being made by the same company that is making the Teddie figure which is coming out in late august so I would assume that she would be coming out around that time or later. The price is also very dependent on the scale. If it's 1/8 scale you can expect it to be around 50$ if it ends ...
Apple Products suck. I have pretty much stopped dealing with them as after a few Ipods and a Macbook all of which broke because of faulty hardware and customer elitist service basically told me off I brought my business elsewhere. It makes me wonder how the hell apple has such a good rep.
The game started to get stale at Vice city because it became obvious they were gonna keep doing the same game over and over with minor improvements and with GTA IV they had almost no improvements except for graphics which still were not even that good and not only that they took things OUT of GTA IV. Personally I think GTA is very over rated.
Wow if that was the best they could come up with that's pretty sad. Almost none of those pics are even what I would call good.
Looks awesome I hope it gets a quick US release.
the game is seeming more and more like vaporware. However we are seeing a bit more info recently so hopefully that won't be the case. The game sounds like it is slowly shaping up and maybe we will get a glimpse at E3. Can't wait to play it.
