First off I don't think they will announce it at E3. There is a small chance they will but beyond that Nomura-san is still very busy with other projects and considering Kingdom Hearts is his brainchild he isn't gonna let anyone else touch it. I would say a safer bet is TGS or after VS XIII is done.

It's kinda common sense that when they say the style of Advent Children they are referring to the insane battles. Advent Children easily has some of the best battle scenes in any movie anywhere. They are incredibly fast and frantic and look great and fluid.

I would assume people are disagreeing with the installing to the HDD comment as unless you have a 120g elite installing isn't happening. Lost Odyssey is to big for the 20g hard drive and FFXIII will be massive so it may even be a problem for 60g owners.

There are so many changes being made for Sigma 2 as to render it a different game. There are new characters, weapons, cutscenes, modes etc being added on top of the fact that the game looks better graphically. Seeing as there already seems to be a large portion of the game done and that the game is still months off I would expect Team Ninja is putting alot of work into this and don't see it as a simple Port.

They should bring back Uematsu and have him redo the whole soundtrack. We saw with Advent Children that he could update the soundtrack while keeping the sound and feel exactly the same.
If they were to release a PSN version work would still need to be done. The script really needs to be redone. I don't know if anyone has played through the original recently buy there is quite a bit of engrish in there and that should be fixed like they did with Final Fantasy Tactics on the PSP.
Another great plus would be voice over but if they were going to go that far they might as well just remake the game in full at that point. Personally I think the perfect time for a remak...

More and more indications from scans and whatnot are pointing to the fact that the Final Fantasy XIII battle system will function very close to that of X and X-2. Really the only thing it has in common with XII is that you can see the enemies on the field and that is a good thing not a bad thing.
This is exactly what needs to be said. Rapelay is such a big deal to people for some reason because it is a game. Even though there are movies and properties out there like the ones mentioned in the article that are just as bad if not worse.
It's not culture either. I notice both example the writer gave are from Japanese creators however we recently saw the release of The Last House On The Left remake which has a absolutely appalling rape scene and is made in the US.
I would say that say that it IS competing with the Wii and that is because it's cheaper then the Wii so it is attractive to the causal market and on top of that it has a known top notch quality games library that is vastly superior to the Wii.
To be honest it would be nice But I don't think the majority of the maps in the game would work well with vehicles there are a few that would but the majority seemed to have been designed for use with players only and not vehicles.
The new maps could in theory support them but I don't see the point when only the 2-3 maps in the DLC would support them. It would end up that no one would ever use them or that's the only maps people would play.

This whole thing is ridiculous. In the VAST majority of the world Violence like you see on common US television is considered Taboo and you will not find stuff like that just causally on TV in other nations.
For example Japan takes violence alot more seriously because of what it is and what it can do to young children but they are a little more lax about sex as such things will be a common thing in life albeit it later on in life.

Putting the Unreal Engine on there loses alot of credibility in my opinion. Sure the engine worked great for some games but it has also been the sole reason other games failed(The Last Remnant) and it is common knowledge that the engine has horrible technical problems such as slowdown and collision detection. Which in turn lead to massive amounts of glitches even in games made by Epic themselves.
Pretty much everything written in this pile of trash is a opinion and on top of that it seems to come from a anti Sony standpoint.
Sony is not losing touch with gamers. We have a killer line up and more is sure to come. On top of that we get updates to the PS3 firmware all the time as opposed to once every decade with the 360. Sony is giving the gamers exactly what they want and the things we have yet to get are most certainly being worked on.
