They do actually have a team of people that do that if a dev team requests it. I'm pretty sure I have read about it at least awhile back.
Ports don't always have to screw things up. I think over the years port has kinda gotten a negative spin to it. For example Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is a Port but it's gonna be a better version in nearly every way over the Xbox version of the game. It's all about the Devs and how much time and effort they put into the game and product and if they don't have that time and money then it may not end up being as good as it should.
At the end of the day because the PS3 is harder to work w...
Personally I don't think there is any bringing MK back to it's former glory it's time has passed and anything that comes will never be as good and it should or could be. Even stuff like Deadly Alliance that everyone thought was so great I thought was completely forgettable and mediocre so I really don't see a reboot of the series helping much in anyway.
It may make some fans come back but by and large I don't think it will make much of a difference. The name MK has just taken to...
nice review although I'm not really a racing junkie myself. The only real racing game I ever really got into that wasn't a acarde racer was Gran Turismo so I think i just may hold off on for the PSP version of that.
if you didn't like Drake after playing the game then something is wrong with you. He is just such a likable character. Just like Naughty Dog said he is like the perfect everyman type character.
I will agree shepherd was awesome but to some degree the player made shepherd who he or she was so that could be a reason to be excluded from the list.
Travis Touchdown should be number 1 that is all. Oh and any character from a Grand theft auto game should not even be on the list since they are nothing you haven't seen in any retarded gangster movie in years past anyway.
Definitely agree on that front. The World Ends With You is still to this say a game I play on a daily bases I just can't stop playing it for some reason.
Other great games such as Final Fantasy Tactics The War of the Lions and FFVII Crisis Core where also some great games. I also loved the Izuna games although i know those were not everyones cup of tea.
It simply boils down to taste. While in many people's eyes J-rpg's may be falling behind in the game play department many may argue that they continue to have story lines unrivaled by the RPG's in the west that with the exception of the games like mass effect and fallout are nothing but generic medieval tales about saving the price/king which gets old quickly.
Quite frankly even when it comes to innovation in the RPG genre no one is doing it better with games like Persona 3 and ...
Personally I don't really care about the graphics quality or the price and all that non sense anyone who is buying this game should not be caring about that stuff they should be caring about wanting to play a funny Ghostbusters game which all the reviews are saying delivers. So who cares who has better graphics at which price. The game is funny and it plays well lets just play shall we?
If you ask me MAG has the possibility to stay around ALOT longer then MW2 because of the massive player count and updates to the game can change the game alot more then MW2 can. That said I think out of the gate MW2 will certainly be a better seller and be the more popular game but it may be the long term they are thinking about here.
The player count really makes MW2 and MAG very very different games if you ask me even if the setting and game play is similar.
I got a headache before i finished reading what was written.
Sounds like you do if you spent a year and a half playing one if you ask me.
When the game was first released it seemed to lack a story line and wasn't really all that interesting but when Chains of Promathia was released that all changed. Square introduced full blown cinematic cut scenes and very endearing characters like Prishe into the game that players to this day remember long after the story line ended. Even after CoP the newer expansion packs brought good stories like ToAU talking about the origins of Odin and Alexander and the Wings of the Goddess talking abou...
That's what I meant by time sink. The games depth is not shown out of the gate because of the way Square set it up. You need to play for a few days to unlock you sub job which allows for the majority of the depth and then even longer to unlock the advanced jobs such as Samurai, Ranger, Summoner, Dark Knight and what have you. Becuase of this players who only played the game for a few hours or even a week or 2 would say the game was nothing but your average generic MMO but thats because the ma...
FFXI is in my opinion one of the best MMO's ever made. The main problem by today's standards is the amount of time it takes to get into the game and get anything done. Stuff like WoW does not even begin to compare in all honesty to how much of a time sink FFXI is. The game is incredibly hardcore and to a extent that's what the fanbase loves about the game.
Square did say after they announced the game in there E3 conference that FFXIV was not gonna be as hardcore and as much of a ...
Honestly? A gamer? I highly doubt she even knows how to turn a PS3 on. She probably only sounds like she knows what she is talking about because of the prompter and if you walked up to her to talk gaming on her own time she would freeze up and stare off into space like a soulless doll. Or more likely just blow you off.
Honestly I have trouble understanding why so many people like her so much. I find her quite annoying and often times disgusting and this most of the time over rides any thoughts I would have of thinking she is attractive which to be honest I don't think she is all that much.
2 soundtracks that I always feel are incredibly epic and extremely underrated are Xenosaga Episode II and III. Both are not only Epic but also extremely emotional Yuki Kajiura really turned the series into her own starting with the 2nd game and infused it with much needed emotion.
The music is so beautiful that it remains in my play lists to this day.
After trying Infamous and being somewhat letdown by the hype(Don't get me wrong I loved the game it was great i just don't see why everyone is going nuts over it.) I Have been really interested in trying out prototype. I loved the teams last game Hulk Ultimate Destruction and from what i have read this just takes it all to the next level and more so I can't wait to give it a shot.
