The tech is actually quite cool but i highly doubt we will see it used widely anytime soon and even if it does take off I doubt it will happen much in the US for any game.
Anyone stop to think that maybe the US just won't get it at all. I mean the PSN has alot of stuff in Japan that we don't have and most likely never will. Not to mention the version of FFVII that was released on PSN was International wasn't it. That version never saw release in the US anyway.
There should never have been a sequel to Final Fantasy X. The games story line pretty much ended and didn't need to go any farther. That's the main reason that X-2 turned out like it did. However that said the 2nd half of X-2 was very good and most people never even got that far before they gave up. The first half is stupid charlies angles type crap while the 2nd half actually gets very interesting as you learn alot more about who Shuyin and Lenne are.

I highly HIGHLY doubt this book will sell anywhere close to a million. While WoW has alot of people the vast majority of them play simply because it's what their friends are playing or because they have nothing else to play not because it has some great story or something.

Please god let this happen. This is easily one of the best games this generation and is also one of the most under appreciated titles ever. I really do hope that a sequel will happen and it's becoming more and more likely.
The recent anime based upon the game is a very faithful adaption from what I have heard and it will be able to reach a large group of people making interest in the game sky rocket so having a sequel is starting to look like a no brainer.

Here is why no one cares about the Iphone as a gaming device. It was designed first and foremost AS A PHONE!!! Apple said countless times before that they did not care about getting into the gaming market in anyway. The fact that a few people made a few games for the Iphone and put them up on the ap store is pointless. Personally I think the guy got what he deserved. He downloaded the movie illegally and then was stupid enough to write a review and put it up. At the very least who could have written the review and then waited until the films release so that he would not have gotten in trouble. But I guess people are to stupid to think simple stuff like that through.

Personally I think there is a big difference between Mobile gaming and portable gaming.

I love the fact that the PS3 version is going to be 100% voiced. And people said the extra space on Blu-ray didn't matter? Well that's why the PS3 version is going to have the full voice over and the 360 didn't. It was odd in the 360 version to be hearing whats going on 1 second and then the next cut scene needed to be read. It made no sense.

I know what you mean. More often then not characters who deal with alot of problems in Japanese RPG's are called emo or sissy or what not when the truth is that they are far more human then anything coming out of characters from other games. Humans have emotions and they deal with them on a daily basis and it's something every human does. Bringing that to the fore front of a character does not make them emo or sissy or what have you it makes them far more human and interesting.
All signs point to VS XIII being a incredible masterpiece. The game is going to be another Nomura-san brainchild although this time it's going to be alot darker and more mature then kingdom hearts was.
The game has more or less been compared to kingdom hearts in terms of game play and that's great because I think that fits the game very well. I highly doubt that VS XIII will fail in fact it may be more successful then XIII as it seems to be a more unique game over all.

Personally I don't see the appeal of the DSi. I Like the DSiware shop and all that but I think they really should have just waited a year and brought out a real next generation hand held with the features that the DSi has.
Sure the DS is still a great platform and is selling well still but i really think Nintendo needs to start thinking about the next hand held they will bring out that's not just another DS cash in.
Rushing to market first was what caused the horrid hardware issue's with the 360. Really if MS is stupid enough to rush to market again they deserve to have another Red Ring issue bite them in the ass.
It's better to wait and have solid hardware and a solid launch line up as opposed to shipping early and having nothing to play on a faulty console.
