I'm kinda wondering how well optimized it is for PC. If it doesn't crash or freeze every 5 minutes I might pick up the full game when it comes out.

I have always thought the game was good and the only tiny stigma I know of is fans saying that it made certain scenes to over the top by metal gear standards(I would say at the time that was accurate but with the insane fights in parts of MGS4 it isn't really a valid argument anymore).
I remember playing this game to death. I never had a N64 so I kinda missed the Goldeneye train but this was a incredible game for it's time.
If they can retain the feel of the game in the source engine and add online multiplayer it will be awesome.

I kinda think the DLC might be about Ish(if people have played the game and found alot of the little notes and whatnot you should know who he is)
Some people say it would be impossible because it happens over a long period of time but so does the main story. It just had time skips. I think they could do something similar with a DLC centered around Ish and what ultimately became of the safe haven he had hoped to create for people.

Fallout 4 is one of my biggest wants right now. I'm really interested in seeing what they can do with it with next gen. Personally I would be happy with better facial animations and animations and general with better graphics(which is a given really) but I bet they might try to do more.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who want to hate on SE or still think XIV is the game it was before ARR. I try to ignore em. While they are angry and misinformed we will be enjoying the final product.
It's the only one I have not beaten. I don't know why at the time I got about half way and it just had not grabbed me so I moved on to something else. I kinda wonder if I go back now and try it if I will like it alot more seeing as my taste in story and games has changed so much since it game out.
I feel the same to be honest. The game had some great moments and those coupled with the nostalgia of playing it again may get me.

Art direction is the reason I don't agree when people say a Crysis game is the best looking thing out there. Sure on a technical level it looks incredible but it lacks something that games that push art direction like Darksiders or Okami or the like have.

I'll probably pick this up in a year or so when it's on sale on steam for like 5 bucks. The I know I would like the humor and all that but the game isn't very polished or even good beyond the appeal of it being Deadpool and funny so yeah 5 bucks for a few good laughs isn't bad but even the current price is to much as far as I'm concerned.
If music is your only problem with getting it then you don't have to worry. Someone on the Steam forums made a pack you can switch out the old music and use his new stuff. He used the OST to rip the samples so they actually sound better then the PSone version does since they are highly quality then what was on the disc back then.
But yeah it's on the steam forums and it's really easy to switch them. Took me about 15 seconds once I finished downloading.
I liked Lightning and one thing I thought was true was that most people liked her even if they hated XIII and wished she was in a better game and that she has kinda become the thing to rage on since SE won't like the XIII franchise die.
I liked VII alot but I have only went back to it I think 3 times and the 3rd I didn't bother beating it only got about half way.
The FF I do go back and play alot is VIII it was my personal fav for the PS1 era and I think if you liked it the first time around it holds up better then VII does now(in terms of how it looks and plays but that could just be me) I used to go back and play Tactics on a almost year basis and I still play the PSP version a ton.

I agree. The Last of Us just put you on edge and made you tense. I mean the whole game I was expecting something terrible to happen and when it doesn't you kinda get more nervous cause you know it's coming and when it hits ya...
Yeah a movie would just not have been able to capture that. In addition to the fact that there really was no wasted space as far as story goes so I don't think it would have even worked as a movie.
Yeah it would be nice to get another Jade Empire and then return to it(or not if a new Jade Empire took off) I just kinda wanna see what they could do with the world of Jade Empire with next gen.
The thing with Borderlands is it's a great game but it is indeed repetitive. Really all games of the collect loot genre are. Diablo 3 for example is basically just kill enemies collect loot. At the end of the day that is indeed very repetitive but for those like myself who find loot fests fun the game is great.
