Many steps above Halo 3 is pushing it. While the game certainly looks better it's not by a large margin and most of what I percive as making the game look better are more presentation then graphics themselves. For example some of the cool ODST like effects around the flags and what not. That gives a nice touch and makes the game look better but Graphically it still looks the same.

There is no way to move your character from FFXI to FFXIV. They are after all despite the way they look completely different games. FFXIV is not FFXI-2 despite what some people may think.
The gear system is completely different the leveling system is completely different the jobs are completely different. In short there is no way even if they wanted to to allow players to migrate from XI to XIV.

There was talk before it's release that perhaps they would port Muramasa to the PS3 or Xbox 360 and I think that the game really needs to have that done.
The visuals in the game are stunningly beautiful and having then in HD would only make them look that much better. As well as the fact that the game may sell a bit more on the other consoles.

Personally I don't wanna see more gimmicky control methods with the DS2. I would rather it have been a more precise and more graphics heavy version of what the DS is now.
Having to tilt the thing around and poke the screen and Blow into a microphone(depending on the game) and all that makes you look like a crazy person if you happen to play in public which ALOT of people do. It's one of the nice things about using a hand held.

Funny how they say the don't need to enhance the Xbox version with fake screens. Why bring up only the Xbox version? They trying to hide something?
Personally I think MS is to blame on this. From REAL people who have played both versions they say the 360 version is lacking. Even a few things that SE has said in interviews seems to indicate this.
I would be willing to bet that MS is pressuring SE into releasing screens that make both versions look the same so people will not be lead into buying the PS3 version.

Recently there was a interview with Kitase talking about how the XIII games are related and as you said he says they are related by the mythos of the crystal. However he also says the L'Cie and Fal'Cie are part of that mythos. So while taht doesn't confirm they will be in Versus it doesn't mean they won't be either.

I personally HATE the points system. It's retarded. You will buy a certain amount of points but it's NEVER the exact amount you need for downloading something.
So for example you have to buy 1000 points when what you want to buy is only 800 so you have to pay for 200 extra points you don't want or need. Now this isn't a problem for people who buy alot from the market place but for those like me who rarely buy stuff it's a massive rip off.

I think 1 and 2 should be reversed. Both incredible games to be sure but Demons Souls is more well known in my opinion. Before the game got it's US release it was being masively hyped by ATLUS and RPG fans alike and as a result ALOT of people bought it. To the point that the game was sold out at almost everywhere at one point and ATLUS had to print more copies.
Valkyria on the other hand came out and was utterly passed by. 90% of gamers didn't even know what it was and it wasen'...
When the official FFXIV site launched there was a section under About and Game info that said Monthly Fee: TBA.
That section has since disappeared leading some to think the game may be based around Micro transactions considering some of SE's games in Japan are doing that. However I personally find it HIGHLY unlikely.
