This such a patheic attempt.
First off Final Fantasy Versus XIII is more then likely going to remain PS3 exclusive. For a few reasons. One is that Nomura has said time and time again that it will and he has ALOT of pull inside SE and they would not want to risk pissing him off so that's why it will stay exclusive. In addition to that even at this insanely early stage we have seen that the in game graphics for the game are FAR and away better then Final Fantasy XIII which if you ...
Maybe because there are tons of incredible games on the PSP that are not on the PS2 or PS3. Crisis Core, Dissidia, MGS Peace Walker, along with a ton of others I'm to lazy to try and remember.
I for one would LOVE to play Crisis Core on a TV as if it was a PS2 game. The experience would just be much better.
@imdaboss
That was Street Fighter Style even back when it was 2d. The thinner characters don't look roided out in SSFIV for example Ibuki or Sakura.
Darkstalkers however never had that style and that's clear from what we have seen of Morrigan from MvC3. She looks incredible and it makes me very excited to see what other Darkstalker characters might be in the game(Felicia is highly likely) and makes me want a full sequel that much more.
@Darrius Cole
This game is in fact the 3rd game in a series of games(if i remember correctly it may actually be more) and it has never even come close to selling as much as some are thinking it will. This one may have a slightly better chance seeing as it has characters and mechs from Code Geass and FMP this time around but still doubt it's gonna get anywhere near 1m.
Games like this are never good they are made purely for the fans of the shows they have characters f...
@aaronisbla
Totally agree about Legend of Dragoon. The game was basically a rip off of Final Fantasy VII even right down to the menus being the exact same color, style and font. Each character is basically a clone from a character from FFVII they are just in a different story line and look different. Personality wise they are exactly the same.
Around the time the game was released I remember reading this GIANT article about all the things it ripped off or were way...
Well I say it's a pretty certain thing that Firefight will be in the game. It was the reason to own ODST and was incredibly fun.
That said I don't think what was said has anything to do with the mode being confirmed or not. What it sounds like to me is that he meant maps in multiplayer will be somewhat inspired by places you will visit in the campaign. MANY online multiplayer games do this and maybe Bungie is doing that with Reach.
I may have differing opinions then alot of the gaming "personalities" or "Journalists" out there and that's fine people are entitled to their opinion.
The only person I REALLY and TRULY hate with a passion is Bobby Kotick. He is destorying gaming and is just a overall horrible human being. He cares nothing about the people who work for him, He cares nothing about the industry and nothing about the medium of gaming as a whole. All he cares about is money and h...
wow they are grasping here.
Satisfaction is lol worthy.
It's a computer: Yeah so is a non gaming PC that will be far cheaper.
Steam: Yeah steam is awesome if you are a diehard PC gamer otherwise it's nothing special. I buy 1-2 PC games every 6 months or so so steam isn't that big a deal for me. Great service nonetheless.
Graphics are better on PC yes. However there are such a lack of games that you would WANT to see better graphics in tha...
I was wondering the entire list where Selvaria from Valkyria Chronicles was.
Pretty bad list. Personally I think only Elena and Nariko should be on it the others are meh at best and horrifying at worst.
I don't know I personally think ALOT of the list is BS.
The having to share thing being the biggest. If they are a girl gamer then they will have their OWN console and their OWN games and you will share very rarely. Because they will play on their console and you will play on yours.
This also gets rid of the split screen thing as you would just play online with the two different consoles.
There are also things wrong with the other things on the list bu...
I think it really depends on the game. Most people would go to the manual to look up something the game never explained to them. So as long as the game has a very good tutorial and the player is never left confused then who needs the manual.
The issue here is that it's most likely being taken out because of cost and Ubi would like say save a few bucks per package. However I am sure the player will never see those savings.
I heard they paid 10k for it on Attack of the Show yesterday. Maybe they were just uninformed.
@blind-reaper
I agree. We already KNOW that SE want's XIV on 360 as well. The only reason it hasn't happened yet is because MS is being to greedy and won't come to a good deal with SE.
On the other hand VS is being made by Nomura who is known to be a die hard Sony loyalist. The fact that he is as big as he is inside of SE and in charge of VS makes me think that game will never see the light of day on 360.
All the indications we have seen so far point...
This list is total fail.
So many of the games on it are either getting a reboot or already got one and failed anyway.
Turok got a reboot and failed.
Sonic is more or less getting a reboot with Sonic 4(it may technically be a sequel but it gets back to it's roots so I really say it's a reboot)
Tony Hawk got it's reboot with Ride and it failed horribly.
And Mortal Kombat is getting a reboot as far as we know.
Totally agree. I never liked dual wielding all that much and I'm glad to see it won't be in the game any more.
Still I have to say the reason they gave for why it won't be there any more is kinda stupid.
I mean they basically said "New people are dumb so we took it out"
I find it hilarious that the ONLY advertising for the game on TV is for the Xbox version(which uses footage from the PS3 version) and still PS3 is massively outselling it. Alot of wasted money on MS's part I would assume.
It would seem to me that those who bought it for 360 would have bought it regardless of marketing and that if the marketing was having a effect the numbers on the 360 side would be higher.
@Alvadr
The scene with Kaim's daughter dying wasn't supposed to make you said because a character died. It's more about how Kaim feels then anything.
One of the FEW things he has remembered at that point in the game was his daughter and as soon as he finds out shes alive and locates her she dies. It's a bittersweet moment for Kaim because he gets to see his Daughter for one last time and finds she even has kids but still has to say goodbye to her for a 2nd time.
Games that made me cry.
Lost Odyssey
Persona 3 and 4
Final Fantasy VII and X
Xenosaga Episode III
Valkyria Chronicles
That's about it. I still to this day don't understand why Gears 2 made people sad or cry. There was no attachment to the character so why it made a impact I will never know.
Say what you will about the game as a whole(I certainly have mixed feelings about the series) but the Co-op was always a blast. It's great that it will be 4 people now.
"I hope Michael Pachter has some very serious inside information on this subject because from the looks of it Ubisoft is not letting up on the fact that Splinter Cell Conviction is exclusive to the 360 and PC."
Yeah and neither did ANY of the other developers who had their games come to PS3 after the fact. It's part of the contract. Would you want the developer saying Oh yeah there will be a PS3 version so you can just wait if you want. No MS wants people to think it's ...
