It's pretty stupid. The only way the price makes sense is if you are gonna constantly be having 4 people playing but OH WAIT it can only do to active players. The price of a 2 PS moves or Wii motes is only SLIGHTLY over that price. So whats the deal on that? Not everyone plays with tons of friends all the time. Yeah okay I exaggerated on the numbers a bit. Let me state a few things first. My PC is a Dell XPS 420 a PC that isn't exactly easy to upgrade(nothing pre built from a maker like Dell ever is)

They will not stop support. They have a mini expansion for the game coming out near the end of the year and it makes no sense to release that and then a few weeks later end support for the game.
Honestly compared to how much it probably costs them to keep the game running(very little) and the amount of players they still have(somewhere between 500k-800k) it's still one of their most profitable games.

Her face had that uncanny valley effect. If you know who she is modeled after and have seen the real person and then she Miranda in game she just looks off.
That said I would not go as far as to call her ugly. There are far worse characters out there.

Graphically this game is REALLY weak compared to Eternal Sonata. That game is still incredibly beautiful today.
This game has a similar style but it isn't even close to Eternal Sonata. ES had way more detail and a much better art style.
That said it looks great. I didn't expect the Atelier series to make a graphics jump like this.
It's kinda funny. I hear people constantly saying how hard Seth is and that he is cheap and evil and impossible and all that. I never have trouble beating him with any character. The final boss of DOA 4 on the other hand makes me throw my damn controller against the wall.
Not only does she deal MASSIVE damage to you and have combos that seem to go on forever but when you think you have finally gotten her into a decent combo SHE TELEPORTS OUT OF IT!!!

Yeah that's what the main story line is about. But in Persona 3 you see ALOT more then the main story line. You will see alot of the sub plots via the social links and all those themes I was talking about come up in those social links and that cannot be denied.
The social links are what make Persona 3 the incredible game that it is. They tackled things that no other game has and does it in a very good way.

The problem is that even if they had much better writers they need to have more then the simple 3 options per dialog choice. It limits the game to much.
Technology comes into the mix because everything in games like that is voice acted and that eats up space so having 100 options even if the writers could write it would not be possible because technology is holding that back(as well as budget at that point)
Honestly while I LOVE Mass Effect 2 it doesn't even come close to being on the level of Persona 3 for alot of reasons. Mass Effect has your typical save the galaxy from evil kind of story line and while it's incredibly well told it's been done time and time again and the characters are basically all archetypes that we have see before but again really well done.

I didn't think Maria's death was sad basically because of what was said in the article and because the game never gives you a reason to be sad. You see her in a flashback for like 30 seconds and thats ALL you know about her. There is no reason to care unless you happen to like Dom and feel sorry for him but he is an annoying character that pretty much follows you around and dies over and over so you have to rez him over and over. Not exactly the kind of character I care about.

Yeah everyone is entitled to an opinion but he didn't have one he is basically trolling. Stating he didn't like he game and a good reason why would be totally fine and acceptable but running and saying "What are you guys smokin" is trolling simple as that.
The first Darkness is easily one of the most overlooked gems of this generation. It was a top notch game and had a awesome story and some really cool mechanics that made it much more then your average shooter. In my opinion there should have already been a sequel out but i'll take a late sequel over no sequel at all.
Just hope it gets here soon.
One of the cities in the game is very pirate focused and it seems as if SE went a little bit overboard with the pirate lingo leading to some weird conversations.
