No Dante isn't the Joker but if you play DMC4 you get the idea that the only reason Dante doesn't kill Nero right off in the beginning is because he loves to mess with him. So in a way Leon is right. Dante would keep Kratos alive just to screw with him on a regular basis.
The way I see it Dante can't die. The stuff you see happen to him and then seeing him not die to me means he can't(within reasonable means). The reason you can die and get game over is because of course it's a game there needs to be challenege and consequence to what you are doing and playing.
Kratos on the other hand is a bad ass and all but still for the most part human. Stab him in the chest and he dies. Yes he fights his way out of Hades but he was still kille...
They had said time and time again that it would be more then just a causal focused machine and so far we have seen nothing to prove that. Even if something was really early they could have showed or at least mentioned it.
All they did was hurt themselves with what they have said in the past and what they didn't show during E3.
Yeah I really wish it was already out. I would expect pretty much everything on this list to happen. Only one I would not be to sure about is Netflix because I don't know if they care to have the service on portable device but if you think about it there is probably alot of people who would love and use that all the time.

Kratos CAN die. Granted he fights he way out of Hades every time but still he can die. No matter how intense the fight if Dante can't die he will win eventually.
Awhile ago a Live action short based on Half Life 2 came out called Escape from City 17 and it was way better then this(in my opinion) it had incredible effects and the best part is most of them were pulled from the game and just scaled up to look way better and fit into the live action stuff. Google it if you have never seen it it's great.
Yeah I rented this from Gamefly and played the hell out of it. Incredible game. I never bought a copy because after the first 2 DLC packs I thought to myself that it's one of those games that's gonna get a GOTY edition with all the DLC already in there and it would make more sense to wait for that.

I really don't like Dragon Age but I LOVE Mass Effect. I really don't like these generic D&D setting medieval games I just have seen it so much I don't care anymore and sure there are a few interesting takes on all that in Dragon Age it isn't enough to get me excited for that kind of game.
When I hear about a new RPG and then hear about it being D&D medieval focused I lose all interest in it nearly right away it's been done to death just like WWII...
Looks incredible and it makes me wonder why Xenoblade is so mediocre by comparison. The Last Story has incredible visuals for a Wii game while Xenoblade looks like it's worse then a PS2 game.
Xenoblade had miles and miles of running through a seemingly unpopulated world while The Last Story is full to the brim with life.
The combat as well looks really good and fast paced. I can't wait to play this it really looks great.

I doubt that. The PS3 version is more then likely well under way. People need to remember this is a MMO not a single player game. It's MUCH bigger and getting everything to work perfectly is alot more important then a single player game.(as it can cause unbalance to the entire game)

Are you people serious? Have you seen the game or read anything about it? It's one of the most hard ware intense games ever. Even Squares PC's they were using to show it off at E3 could not run the game at max specs.

I would not say the genre is past it's prime but it's alot harder to get excited for something that's a FPS because the genre is so over saturated. It used to be we would see one every once in awhile when they first started appearing on console and now every other game is a FPS so it's kinda hard to get excited.

I am disappointed by the game for one reason.
I don't think anyone at Nintendo thought through what making the control scheme like this will do. If you need to constant swing the sword with big motions not just waggle(which they said you would need to do) and you need to constantly bring up the wii mote to hold a shield the game is going to be INCREDIBLY tiring very quickly.

I hated Zeke because he was annoying. He was a negative character always being somewhat jealous and that isn't exactly the kind of person you wanna like. Even after the few redeeming things he does.
