After playing Persona 4 Arena I really don't think the next Persona should be based around Mitsuru like this guy wants.(even though he is mostly joking about it)
Persona 4 Arena clearly hints at a bigger storyline surrounding Mitsuru and the Shadow Operatives but I honestly think that should be a spin off and that Persona 5 should continue with a new cast and new story. Maybe one that vaugely ties in with the other games but not one that is a direct sequel or something. ...
I felt the same way. It looks pretty interesting. I will certainly be keeping an eye on this one. Always nice to see games that try to do something new and interesting rather the just follow the status quo
That Mobile Light Force is pretty funny. Using the EXACT same box art twice is hilarious.
They are pretty good about fixing stuff quickly. For example I use the Vizio internet TV with Crunchyroll and at one point the subs on Occult Academy didn't work and I posted in the forums there and they fixed it in about a week.
I don't know if they have a similar thread on the site for the PS3 app but I would assume they do. If so go ahead and report the problems cause if they know about it they sort it out rather quickly.
I always kinda like the Batman Arkham City model. The main story isn't mega long but once you beat it you have a metric crap ton you can do with finding all the Riddler trophies, Finishing up side quests, challenge maps and of course new game +.
I think that is the perfect way to do it because the game isn't overly long for those who just want to see the story but for those who want more out of the game there is always something to do.
I personally liked the music as it lent the game a unique style and feel that went along great with the character and her personality. But i can see why people didn't like it. It's a very different style of music then you would normally see in a game like that.
But yeah I really want a 2nd game and to be honest I'm surprised we haven't seen a sequel yet. I hope it wasn't a one off game that will never get a sequel. The world and character are to interestin...
Firstly they are not reworking or rehashing code. The new engine and server tech has been built from the ground up for the game, something the original launch didn't do(which lead to many of it's performance issues as the engine wasn't very scalable.
2nd anybody who owns a copy of the original game won't have to rebuy the game the new client will be free to those who have a copy already.
I think half the story was terrible and half of it should have been the entire focus. The game spends a good half or more of the game with the charlies angels like escapades of the girls when the story of Lenne and Shuyin should have taken center stage the entire time and once it starts to focus on said story the game gets much better but at that point it's kinda too little to late.

they have been saying over on the official forums that a flood of new info and media will be coming for XIV in the next couple of weeks so you won't have to be waiting to long to see more of the game play and what not.
yeah I didn't try to buy anything at all while playing the beta. I just saw that the things needed to let you buy more energy from the store could be or would be buyable only with real money and so yeah...not gonna sink money into a game like that as over time you will have sunk enough in to buy numerous other games that likely would have given a better entertainment value for your dollar.
I gave it a shot just because it was a Insomniac game and it still has all the stupid issues I don't like about facebook games.
While the concept is interesting and a bit fun to play it still limits the crap out of you basically only letting you play like 10 minutes at a time...unless you want to pour a ton of real world cash into it at which point I say screw it and go buy a real game to play that will give me far more enjoyment without the frustration.
I would be willing to bet that if Versus has become XV that Nomura is still in full control of the project and that little will be changed in the transition. Nomura is a very important part of SE as he is easily the only guy in the company who can consistently put out quality games. I doubt the upper management of the company would risk pissing him off in any way. Now I don't know for sure but if I was him I would think he may like to have Versus become XV as it won't have the name as...
SE has some FFXIII fablua whatever crystalis thingy event for Sep 1 and I would be willing to bet they will fully unveil Versus there. Nomura said not even a month ago that a full scale unveil of the game was coming soon and considering most of the other XIII projects are either done or we know all about them(FFXIII is done and we know pretty much everything about type-0) It would only make sense that this event will be used to unveil Versus and perhaps even give it a date.

I HIGHLY doubt this is true. SE knows that people have been waiting forever for this game and that many people consider it the last bastion of hope for SE in terms of making good games. With that knowledge they would be suicidal to cancel it.
The only way I can conceive this as being true is if the game is no longer being called VersusXIII and has been renamed FFXV as some other rumors have said in the past.

I think they confirmed awhile back that all the original characters would be coming back and they would be slowly showing them off until the games release. I think there is also supposed to be one more new character if i remember correctly
I can't wait for DOA5 it's been so long since 4 and the game is shaping up nicely. Doesn't look like it's missed a step at all.
The article mentions that the scope of the games world would be similar to Skyrim. Also that said world would be open.
One thing we do know about Versus is that it is gonna have a large world map and depending on how they implement that it could have a open world feel.
That said I don't think XV is VersusXIII.
I loved XII so I would love for this to be true but I kinda doubt it is. I mean anyway you look at it this gen is starting to wind down and VsXIII has yet to release and I doubt SE would release two high profile games like this so close to each other.(for fear of cannibalizing sales).

I actually like the timing to be honest. I loved MGS4 when i played it but it was such a satisfying conclusion that I probably at the time wouldn't have wanted to play it a ton more just to get trophies but now that it's been a few years. I can go back and take my time and do what I want to get the trophies without feeling the pressure to plow through the game to see the story.
I know it doesn't make alot of sense but yeah I like the timing.
Yoshida has expressed interest in doing something like that once A Realm Reborn is done and out and everything planned is caught up however the vast majority of the forum users over on the official forums want Triple Triad instead of something like Tetra Master.
Either way I think it's a cool idea having something like that in the game and I bet given his interest and the fact that he likes to listen to the fans that he will likely have some kind of game like that.
