Ah my mistake. I played whichever one it was that came out on the original Xbox and needed said Hunter license. More or less played it until a few months before they stopped service.
At the time it was a very fun game but the game play doesn't hold up these days and it looks like the game play is more or less the same just with a PC interface and more abilities and spells and such. Still if it does end up F2P I will probably be giving it a shot.
The game play is still the major flaw. The game itself looks great. Graphically it's not the best in the world but it's got a nice style and will not kill eye balls or anything(it's also not very close to done so it could improve visually)
The main issue is the sluggish and slow combat. It still seems stuck back in the days of the original Phantasy Star online. I loved that game and played it for years and back that the game play was great but things have changed...
Anything that doesn't have the name Wii in it. Considering Nintendo has a largely casual fan base it makes it sound as if the Wii U is a add on to the Wii which one not very into gaming could understandably mistake as the Wii has tons of extra add ons.
The exception is Wii 2 as that would let people know it's something new but the Wii U isn't trying to be another Wii at least not based on what Nintendo says so they should have gone with a name without the Wii nam...
I do have to say it looks miles better then RE 5 did(which I wasn't a big fan of) and I have to admit I'm a bit excited.
The biggest issue with RE5 was that the game play didn't grow from RE4 and I really hope this time around it controls better and more like a modern day game. If so I can see myself enjoying this entry. The story certainly looks pretty good seems to be a crap load going on.
Wrong music? I don't really think they cared. They wanted a Sonic song and they probably wanted one that was faster paced then most because he is running around really quickly and the song they choose to use fits.
Be glad they used a Sonic song at all they could have just easily used some generic sounding cartoon music and made the ad terrible.
Yeah there is a difference between a game being hard because it was intended to be and being hard because the game is just bad.
Amy is a case of being hard because the game is bad. Trying to tell people to switch it to easy mode won't make the controls any better or the collision detection work the way it was supposed to.
When they introed him and he came down the ramp I couldn't help but roll my eyes. But as the match went on he did these tiny little things that made him funny and entertaing so while I don't think it's the best gimmick in the world and it will really limit where he can go I do think it's better then him just being the stereotypical strong man they were trying to make him earlier last year.
agreed I really wanna see more of Bayonetta. The first game was in my opinion the best action game ever made and I'm sure they can improve on it and step things up so I am really excited to see if that is what it is.
It's kinda odd that if people think this is more then a simple remaster that SE hasn't said a thing to confirm or deny it.
I mean either way they should speak up. If it IS a real remake on a new engine say so as to hype up the fan base who thinks that isn't what it is and if it's not just a simple remaster say so so fans don't get hyped up for something they will not be getting.
Either way I would expect we will know for sure which it wi...
No they showed footage. Looked pretty good to tell the truth. I think the Tony Hawk series could survive quite well in the Downloadable games area as it's just a nice simple concept and making it to complicated is what brought the series down.
I could seem them releasing either new levels or just a new downloadable game every year and at 10 bucks or something like that I wouldn't mind. Anything is better then the crap they were making so a return to the classic side ...
I always thought the concept behind this VN looked pretty interesting so perhaps I will check it out. Haven't played any new VN in awhile so might as well.
First off they didn't remove 15 gigs of content. The reason XIII-2 was so quickly made was because they had experience with the engine and that was something they didn't have when making XIII also the reason XIII-2 fits on a single Xbox disc is because XIII-2 has almost no CGI movies like XIII did which ate a massive amount of space on those 360 DVD's.
now On topic. I liked XIII. It wasn't the best Final Fantasy game but it wasn't as bad as people make it...
my thoughts on the whole Rising controversy are that if Platinum makes a great game then awesome(and like it or not they likely will as Bayonetta is easily the best Action game this gen.)
That said even if it is a awesome action game the issue is it will feel like a MGS game in both game play and style(for example the trailer was really cheesy just like Bayonetta and while that works for a Sexy witch it isn't gonna work for what we were expecting from a game centering ar...
I suffered through the whole thing mainly to see if anything had gotten better but really it hasn't.
The biggest annoyance is the lack of the focus on the GAMES. Sure they have the premiers of new games and what not and that's fine but why the hell do we only actually see the outcome out like 4 of the 20 or so rewards? We are tuning in to see who won what and what they have to say. Not some stupid hollywood people who think they are gamers when they clearly aren'...
That's what I was wondering when I saw the new trailer.
But to be honest going back and watching the E3 trailer it almost looks more like Tech demo and perhaps was done long before the game was actually being handed off to Platinum Games. It would explain the drastic style changes and what looks like completely different game play.
I'm still kinda looking forward to Rising but I'm nowhere near as hyped as I was. The new trailer really killed my e...
The characters looks great. Looks like they are going for a much more realistic art style when compared with past games in the series. Not totally real but less plastic and doll like. Personally I think it looks great and in motion will look even better. That Hayabusa and Hayate Video released awhile back looked incredible and the game is nowhere near done so it's no stretch to believe it could look even better when all is said and done.
He used their Tech for Vegas but if I'm correct isn't Skyrim on a new and different engine?(Fallout and New Vegas were using the Gamebryo engine while Skyrim uses the Creation engine) SO while it's true he used Bethesda Tech he didn't use the engine Skyrim is using which makes his knowledge on this issue moot.
I personally think Bethesda will get this all ironed out. All the games they make on some level or another have performance issues but when the dust se...
Of course things like that happen but it doesn't mean the Dev can't have a semi accurate % of completion on a project they have already done a ton of planning for.
Considering the fact that DOA4 nearly maxed out the DVD on the 360 chances are Team Ninja did alot of planning on what they do and do not want to do with DOA 5 so as not to have worries about disc space late in development.
Um Normally when a mag or article says the % of completion it's the studio working on the game who gave them that info. After all they need the studio to be a part of the preview or else they don't have screens or info to go in it.
I understand the whole online pass thing and to be honest it doesn't bother me(mainly because I don't play many games online but the few I have still didn't bother me)
To me I don't understand why people really go the whole used game route all the time. I mean at places like Game stop you are only getting 5 bucks off in most cases(for recent games older games are of course gonna be a better deal used but for the sake of this comment i'm talking about new g...
