The GPU is probably a lot bigger in Scorpio than in XBox One.
Why?
1. SoC chip area is almost the same
2. a lot of the area in XBox One were eSRAM that is now replaced with more GPU
3. CPU is mostly the same but should take less space due to shrink

There is no such thing as a fault free game nowadays.
Simple games like Tetris could be made fault free by developers, games slightly more advanced like Pacman can be made fault free during internal testing before release. So games like Candy Crush will not contain a lot of faults...

When making a RX480 and one CU is defective, turn it and a few others off and sell it like a RX470.
I would not be surprised if there are a few extra CUs that are allowed to be faulty and disabled on a RX480 - like 4...
