I looked up the date a few weeks ago and it said VGX was on the 9th. It's today?!
What a pleasant surprise! Haha! I can't wait to see what they show!
I'm pretty sure that Nintendo has announced that they've got two more brand new franchises in the works. Miyamoto also said he wants to work on an FPS, so that's also a possibility.
3D World is honestly either first or second on my ranked list of Mario games. It's really amazing.
Improvements I would like to see:
*Maybe a Captain Toad's Adventures DLC or separate mode?
*A mode where there is no time limit, but is instead focused on exploration.
*A level designer would also be awesome.
It's still probably the best game I've played on the Wii U.
I definitely believe a remake is in the works.
I have almost no doubts.
Yeah, I really hope they use this to their advantage.
Crossing my fingers that they make this announcement worthwhile. It could do so much good for them.
That makes sense; it would be kind of strange for them to show Donkey Kong.
1. We already know the fourth character.
2. It's VGX!
I'm actually really excited for X and I've never even been into that type of game. It looks amazing.
I thought Nintendo's game was a "new look" at an announced game.
Either way, it will probably be exciting.
Hopefully it's not Kranky Kong's reveal...
How is creating bundles desperate? It's providing a system and a game at a reasonable price. Most video game consoles have bundles.
Many websites have reported being sold out of Wii U bundles for the holiday season.
@All above
Yes, you buy the console for its lifespan, but most people will wait until a console gets games to buy along with the console- especially if they're bundled at a lower price.
Maybe you should read the article before commenting.
It says "this holiday season" even in the title. Yes, the PS4 and Xbox One are great systems, but this year, because they just launched, they do not have many games. That's the real selling point on a console, and the Wii U's got the games.
Yes, the Wii U is experiencing a down period.
So was the 3DS.
Calling the Wii U dead is just premature. If sales don't pick up after all the games come out next year, then sure. But right now? Not at all.
I agree. When I first saw the game, I was very disappointed. 3D Land was alright, but it just felt too linear to me.
3D World blew me away. It's amazing, and I love multiplayer. The levels are very creative, and it does not bother me that they don't follow the same theme as the world theme.
Overall, I'm very happy with it. I can't wait to see what this team will do next!
We know already that there are two brand new franchises in the works, one of which that has been rumored to be a more "mature" game.
@guitarded77
I think he means that articles that talk bad about the Wii U are posted more often than ones that report good news (as in positive and negative). I think that news should be posted regardless.
Positive Wii U article? Submit it!
Negative Wii U article? Submit it!
People deserve to know what's truly going on, not selected stories promoting one side.
Well, they said that VGX would allow them to show a "new look" at an upcoming Wii U game. Cranky Kong was leaked very recently for DK, so people are worried that that will be the announcement.
It would be a disappointing reveal, because we already know about it. Maybe if that's what they were planning on showing, they'll add something fresh as to not disappoint us.
And Tangled.
I didn't know that either! It's a great game; they sure did prove themselves.
This is just my opinion, but I actually really liked the environment in 3D World. The cat suit, surprisingly, gives you a lot of exploration power. It's really fun.
There's actually this one sunset level that looks amazing. It's pretty nature-y, but I get what you mean. They will probably return to that style at some point, but for now, you should enjoy what they've made. I sure am.
I know; I thought VGX was in two days. I got an incorrect date.
