I feel really stupid for asking this, because there's probably an obvious explanation (and I don't have Xbox Live Gold or PS+). If the downloads are tied to your account, what's stopping your friend from signing into your account and using your games if you give them your password?
This is a serious question. I'm just curious.
@Shadowsteal
Even though most of them are old IPs, people still want to buy them. That's like saying, "Call of Duty is an old IP, so I'm not going to buy it."
Your argument makes no sense. People will buy a game if they want it, not if it's new.
Nobody will agree with me here, but I honestly agree with Reggie. Whether we like it or not, the main audience for the Wii U as of now are both hardcore Nintendo fans and children who simply like Nintendo games.
Nintendo fans will be more likely to buy digital content, so it's understandable that they'd want more memory.
The younger audience, however, cannot buy their own games. They tell their parents "I want this game," so the first thoug...
Don't stop! Believin'!
No? Too soon?
I understand what Nintendo did... If they said, "yup, we're having a price reduction in a few months," then nobody would have bought the console until the price cut came. It's kind of a tricky situation, because people will either not buy it or resent you for not telling them sooner.
Pikmin 3 is honestly the best game I've played in a very long time.
"the console wont get very far without some good 3rd party support..."
I honestly don't know anybody who buys a Nintendo console for its 3rd party games...
Honestly, I bought that game and have only played it once. It has a neat concept and good-looking graphics, but it's no fun if you're by yourself.
I wouldn't blame the lack of satisfaction on the Wii U customers... I would blame it on the game itself.
Seems a bit cheesy. They know the commercials are meant to be... odd. They made them that way. It was a little funny, but... wouldn't a normal commercial get the point across better? :P
Has anyone mentioned that Pokemon X/Y could be similar to Pearl/Diamond? In this set, Z could be the Platinum. Just saying that the game is 3D on the 3DS- and if X and Y relate to coordinates or the X and Y axes, then adding the Z axis makes it 3D...
I doubt it will be THE title that turns the tide, but like Pikmin 3, it will definitely help.
I don't see how... People will buy a Wii U if they want one, and they won't if they simply don't like the system. The Xbox One and Wii U offer completely different experiences, so I doubt that would happen.
I have the game for the Xbox 360 and absolutely love it. I'm not really caught up with the times I guess, but I think it would be great on the next-gen platforms as well.
PS4, Wii U, and Xbox One could all use their second screens to have your inventory or a map conveniently placed.
Does anyone know if they plan on putting Minecraft on next-gen? I've heard they don't really want it on Wii U (hopefully they'll change their mind), but what about...
I judge a console simply on how much fun I have with it. :)
Yes, yes we did! That's actually kind of sad. XD
Yes, I was talking about "effect." Sorry to be picky like that
Sorry to be a grammar nazi, but... you should make sure you spell the title correctly before publishing.
I understand why people would want 250$, but 199 is just ridiculous. If you can afford the Xbox One at 500 dollars, why does 300 dollars suddenly become extremely expensive?
Wii U sales are bad now, but more key first party titles will pick up the pace.
Okay, thank you both for the comments. :)
