I agreed because of your statement about the game, but if you're going to wait for the Wii U to hit $200, you'll be waiting for a LONG time....
As a Wii U owner, I can say congratulations, Sony!
The PS4 looks great (even though I've never owned a PlayStation, heh...) and I'm glad it's getting the sales it deserves!
I will be looking at the game releases and may look into purchasing one when I can get the money...
Funny, the people arguing for the Wii U are the ones that own one or plan on owning one.
Pachter needs to just stop. He's not an "analyst," he's a guesser that gets lucky sometimes.
He first claimed that the 3DS was a gimmick and the Vita would outsell it amazingly. When that turned out to be false, he quickly changed his mind and said glowing things about the 3DS and that the Vita is dead.
I would take his "advice"...
With the industry full of lying, distrust, and name-calling (even if it is joking around), it's nice to see some friendly people out there...
I believe that competition is key when it comes to gaming (any business, really), because companies will inspire each other and help them keep business tactics reasonable.
Hopefully this type of relationship will spread and more people will start acknowledging each other in a friendly way!
Maybe I'm the only one that finds it a bit creepy when those mustaches latch onto the kids' faces...
Why...? So you can buy them? That means that you do like Nintendo games, you just claim that they're "rehashes" and "unoriginal" because you dislike Nintendo systems. Makes sense.
Why doesn't Sony stop making consoles? Why doesn't Microsoft? Each console offers unique things, and it's important to have competition on the market.
I personally like Nintendo consoles. I see no reason for them to stop making them.
Has this been answered? What are the slot machines on the world map?
One bubble? Nice...
"There hardware sucks, there software sucks, there online is basic and uninspired, and they have no games or third party support."
Their*, by the way. The hardware is amazing. I, for one, actually care about the experiences it gives me, not simply graphics. Wii U fans are fans of it because it's fun and innovative.
Their software is amazing. It's the best I've ever played. Look at sales and you can se...
You claim that the Wii U has a bad library and support that by saying there's no marketing and a lack of online play?
Even if either of those last two things were true, the Wii U would still have a great library.
Putting that aside, the online services (besides a unified account system) on the Wii U are fantastic. They're impossibly easy to navigate and as far as I've seen, they work perfectly. I just wish Nintendo would implement these services ...
"Now the wii u no due to its lack of games, I mean I will feel bad to tell a person buy a wii u and wait next year for its best games"
You're forgetting the many amazing exclusive Wii U games that have already been released... Once you have a Wii U, nothing's holding you back from buying them. There's no reason to act sad until Mario Kart comes out, when you can fill up that time playing Wonderful 101 or Nintendo Land.
You'd be surprised. Lots of people I know who are just biting their nails waiting for some Christmas money to spend on a Wii U bundle.
"the launch of new tech will always draw a bigger crowd that one game. "
That's true, but it's not like people who buy a Wii U will only buy that one game. Once they have a Wii U, they'll say, "wow, look at all these great games!" The only reason these games haven't done as well is because alone,...
I love the Gamepad. I simply haven't seen that much use of it from Nintendo itself, which is ironic.
I liked the interactive map in Pikmin 3, and I've seen that they're aiming to implement it more in Super Mario 3D World.
It's really a great controller, it just needs to be utilized more.
There was an article on here that explained that the Wii U Mario and Luigi bundle was sold out on Amazon.com, Target.com, and Gamestop.com. Of course, the article only got around 70 degrees.
Most people on this site only read what they want to hear. Doom for Nintendo? It will get approved. Something good happens to Nintendo? Nobody notices.
The girl in the cat costume is going to look back at this commercial in a few years when she's applying for a job and cry.
All jokes aside, this looks pretty neat. I like the air feature. I guess this game really will use the Gamepad more, like it's been said.
This game is looking better and better. I cannot wait! Multiplayer looks fantastic! It's a shame you can't play with your Miiverse buddies, though.
...While he'll be enjoying Miiverse and other online services plus 50 extra dollars in his pocket every year.
It's really awesome that you can play them on the TV. I just have one concern... won't people opt for the cheaper Vita TV? Now, the only plus to the Vita itself is that you can take it outside of your home.
Am I right or mistaken in some place...?
I love Mario, but it's kind of disappointing to see him in most games Nintendo releases. There are just so many sports games, along with all of the other Mario games...
I'm usually the one standing up for Mario games, but right now, I'd like to see a bunch of completely new ideas. Maybe a 3D Toad adventuring game. Maybe a completely new puzzle game with clever characters. I'm not sure, but I am interested in something new.
I love Wii U and believe that it will pick up a bit after Christmas, but there's no denying that it's not doing too well at the moment.
However, I believe that more people will become attracted to it as more exclusives come out. Most people I know want one, but they're waiting for Smash Bros.
@Malo
In my opinion, I think this Christmas is a great time to get the Wii U.
New Super Mario Bros. U + Super Luigi U + Deluxe Bundle + free online + backwards compatibility= $299.99.
That's great value.
"However, the wii is 99 dollars right now... and I love me sum classics."
You could buy the Wii now for $99 dollars and buy a Wii U in the future for $250-300... The total cost would be $350-4...
