The "Killer app" for PS+ is that it's OPTIONAL and if you choose not to adopt it you still play online for FREE. Yet people whinge about it...
Then bog off and play your 'wonderfully original' games and leave the quality to us.
The amazing melee animations of KILLZONE 1 were just one of several things I missed when I played the sequal. So good to hear that they're returning and that you can control them!
Sony made gaming "cool" in my opinion. Before the PS1, the hobby was the realm of 'nerds', but after that original Sony console released it was suddenly trendy to admit you were a gamer.
I opted for the 3 month service to try it out, but will probably renew for the year. I've already recieved enough themes, minis and games for my original payment to have been covered.
And no, it ISN'T a "false economy", because the games are fun and ones that I WOULD have bought had I known they'd be so enjoyable.
Nathan Drake is a "character"
Lara Croft is a "charicature" - I mean, can anyone honestly say that Croft as seen in the original game (which I played on Sega Saturn) wasn't conceived JUST as a pre-teen masturbatory fantasy figure??
The whole appeal of Drake is that he's the 'John McClane everyman'; flawed, bumbling and gets hurt. Lara Croft is a plummy voiced aristocrat so far removed from reality that the only thing people cou...
Some really talented stuff being produced for this game - Sort of puts my own to shame really...
In my ignorance, I've never even heard of it until reading this.
Not sure I want to adopt MOVE as the norm for my gaming (at 40, my co-ordination is shot to hell), but I would like to give it a damn good try.
I was going to say the same thing - If the technology can be perfected, the idea behind Kinect is brilliant but NOT (in my view) for gaming. For something like tv channel changing or switching on household appliances it could be revolutionary.
The video editor is great - I've used it loads of times already, but some of the music tracks sound like 70's porno.
I lost a bubble for saying far less than that mindless rant of yours...
Great game, but I'd never buy it this way!
Yes I did slate Kinect as an evolutionary blind alley for gaming, but I also think this is just as pointless.
As great as backwards compatability was, the HD generation has spoiled me and, for the most part, those old PS2 games looked ugly on my new telly. I'll take HD remasters any day, thank you!
*sigh* Except those of us who LIKED the first game, a LOT.
First place, last place? Whatever, it doesn't make the PS3 any less impressive and, in my view, a stunning piece of hardware that has yet to let me down.
Brilliant game - I'm in the process of recreating the entire cast of CHUCK in Mod form along with a Nerd Herder for them to drive. Great creative freedom....
Simple answer:
Because it wasn't one of the worst games ever made.
The goalposts are conveniently moved every time to make sure 360 aren't 'flops'. The same goal posts will be firmly set back at the absurd "2,000,000 in 24 hours" mark for when KZ3 comes out, I'm sure of that.
