Holy crap.
I refused to buy the game and was happy with that, but played the recent demo out of sheer weekend boredom - I thought I "couldn't care less" about this game, but after slogging through the tedium of that demo mission I realised I was wrong. Overated, over-hyped and over my head. People buying this all over again for an obscene price is supposed to be a 'good' thing?
Absolutely, emphatically "NO". I just wonder how many people saying 'no' here would, albeit grudgingly, cave in?
The death of the US soldier you played as in COD4 - You've just rescued the helo pilot and feeling pretty good about yourself then *boom*, your down.
Then you get an even worse moment when you think you've survived, perform an excrutiating crawl, then.... nothing.
Even at that point I was expecting a rescue chopper or something - Like the end of 'The Whicker Man'; you think that "this can't be it, surely?"
Bobby Kotick shouldn't be allowed to sign on as a member here!!
For god's sake, the cars are in slow motion during the opening 'cinema'... are people that dumb (or so desperate to hate on GT5) to fall for this?
Well to those folk I say "Yes, man DID walk on the Moon"
I was going to say that if anyone falls for this then they're a bit dim - Then I see your post... Yesssss.
I already have the cam and don't do multiplayer - MOVE is going to be smooth transition for me and I know exactly what it's going to cost me...
The load times don't kill the game - Get it, it's great!
Because these days it's easier and trendier to hate, I'm less inclined to believe someone who DOES hate for such flimsy reasons as he listed.
No real mystery, sunshine.
There's always one...
Three levels with the SAME environment too!
Very 'insightful' opinion piece. I'm sure he feels the snow in KZ2 hasn't been improved upon for KZ3... oh wait there WAS no snow in KZ2. There's one significant improvement right away: More diversity in settings.
It was said about the first LBP, so I expect it'll be repeated for the sequel: People whinging about levels being 'too hard to make' when that couldn't be further from the truth.
...LBP and it's sequel require imagination, a sense of fun and creativity... Wayyy out of your league.
I use the BBC iPlayer a lot, but Channel 4 doesn't really offer any programmes I like - Don't think I'd use it much, but it's still cool to have.
Excellent argument!
Good god, who 'agreed' with you?
My reason to buy a PS3: I have a brain, common sense and the ability to reason - As such, I made up my own mind and don't need any list to tell me what to choose.
You joined to say THAT??
....wow
And stop agreeing with yourself and bubbling yourself up... it shows insecurity!
Except the cursed Spaniards of UC 1 were directly linked to the "treasure hunting adventure" story...
Except it WASN'T Big Foot in UC 2 at all...
I wasn't disappointed with SINGULARITY... at all.
