Oh I'll certainly be giving the MP maps a twirl, but I suspect it'll get VERY embaressing VERY quickly and I'll end up scurrying back to the campaign in short order.
Also, as it's a team based experience, I think the "kick player" option will be being used on me a lot too!;)
edit
Sounds like a bad case of 'Ecze-Box-ma'!!
Ohhh well - Don't have the game but my Sister does. Guess I won't be getting it now despite her recommendation - If a firm is going to be so blatant as to say they won't offer support to one of their titles on my format of choice then why should I bother?
I received my weekly comic order in the post today, and in just about every issue there was a full page ad for HALO WARS...
Sony's so good at making consoles, I guess the law of nature decrees that they be crap at something else to balance the universe out - Sadly, it appears that it's 'marketing' that's their weakness.
Pity I'm so rubbish at online multiplayer as it looks like an essential componant of this game and yet I'll probably be missing out.
I'll probably get HEAVY RAIN if I hear good things about it nearer release, but it doesn't seem like a game I'd want to go back to over and over.
UNCHARTED on the other hand... I replay that title on a regular basis and have played it through five or six times; It's just so cinematic & beautiful to look at and a hoot to play, so UNCHARTED 2 is definately my most anticipated game after I get KZ2 in my grubby mitts.
Go and lie down dear, you're seeing things that aren't there again.
Hang on... If Gamestop is open at midnight and both HALO WARS and KILLZONE 2 are released, isn't it a 'midnight launch' for both? "Cancelling" one midnight launch and arranging another for the SAME NIGHT for a different game just doesn't make sense.
If people go into GS at midnight and ask for KZ2, will the shop not sell it to them because the event is for Halo Wars (and vice versa of course!)?
This smacks of making something out of nothing...
Hey, let's be really optimistic and say it's 3.5 stars out of 3, not 4!! ;)
Yep, odd scoring, but to say the game is 'awe inspiring' shows they liked KZ2 so "out of four" seems to be their norm.
Ah well, game should be with me tomorrow or Thursday.
The 'eyes' have it...
Sorry, had to be said...;)
Ratchet & Clank is a gem - It plays like a Pixar CGI movie in terms of script, acting and humour, while the visuals are just perfect. Personally I'd rate it over LPB (which I also love!).
"Packing" at the moment. Guess I'm looking at Wednesday or Thursday for mine.
On the review: That's their opinion of course. If they choose not to see what KZ2 'brings to the table' then that's their business. I've never experienced the brilliant visuals & immersive atmosphere this game offers in any other title before so as far as I'm concerned, they're 'innovations' along with the FP cover, valor point betting and badge combinations.
edit.....
Only SOME of the 1400 people got too much money. The amount can't be too much otherwise it most likely would have been reported already. We're probably talking a few thousand here?
Still, even if it was in excess of a million, that's less than a pee in a bucket for Microsoft, even during a reccession.
Let it go and bow out with a little dignity, MS!
Seeing as how KZ2 is only 30fps to start with, I guess you've got your 'facts' mixed up.
Campaign... then campaign again.
I'm rubbish at multiplayer.:(
"Floundering" sales..... Hmmmmmmmm.
