So Guerilla are out and out liars?
Okay, but go to the official KZ2 site and tell the GG team there, as I doubt they visit this place.
On SP campaign: It feels like the deadzone & acceleration has been changed - The stick now feels more 'traditional' for want of a better word. I didn't have a problem with the rifle beforehand, but weilding the pistol was awkward. Now it's a lot easier.
Don't feel any difference to MP to be honest - Just as great as before!
My online came back up around 12.30-1.00pm GMT and 30 people flooded into my game right away. That's never happened before, so I guess I must have been one of the first hosts on after the upgrade!!!
What abot RE 1 - 4 (and all other iterations)? Are they anti-white???
This idiocy shouldn't have even reached the stage where we need to 'hear from an expert'.
Stinky demo - This sort of cover/combat based game has a lot to prove in the wake of UNCHARTED (seeing as how I'm a PS3 owner, I can't comment on GEARS OF WAR) and this didn't even come close to delivering in my view. The demo was very dull and repetetive, with poor animation and guns that had little heft or power to them.
I liked the film though.
Oh yes, I forgot about that! As other have mentioned, I'd like to see a screen/video capture feature added if it wasn't too difficult.
I realise I'm in a minority (of one, probably) but I found the first BIOSHOCK very overated and may not even bother with the sequal.
Amen... Nothing more frustrating than them being used on a map like BLOOD GRACHT, with someone just standing outside a room and firing rockets into a spawn point.... How is that 'fun'?
If I start a game I turn the ASSAULT BADGE off.
Killzone 1 maps would be nice - "Phyrus" (or whatever is called) is getting a bit boring now. Just about every Bodycount game I enter uses ONLY THIS MAP, not cycling through any others. Presumably because it's good for snipers.... grrrrrr
Not bad for a pokey little island like ours!
No way will I ever favour downloads for games or movies - I'll always prefer a 'hardcopy' for immedite access and keeping hard drives free.
The only thing game violence desensitises me to is more game violence.
I've been carving, slicing shooting and exploding people in the virtual world for nigh on 25 years and it doesn't bother me, but if I see footage of a REAL crime or accident scene on television, it still makes me sick.
Normal, intelligent people can distinguish the difference between reality & fantasy, and it isn't fair to penalise the LARGE majority because of the SMALL twisted minority who wish ...
That was my only complaint about the KZ2 campaign - I'd have much rather had the squad members in cutscenes, but then go and do the actual mission on my own. GARZA didn't do much except get in my way, forcing me to meleé him out of my path on plenty of occasions.
Sigh.
People who only have an Xbox 360 shouldn't really CARE if KILLZONE 2 is 'better' or 'worse' as they can't play it.
People who only have a PS3 shouldn't really CARE if HALO is 'better' or 'worse' because they can't play it.
People with both consoles can buy both games and make up their own mind, not have it made for them.
Pointles articles (sarcastic or not) such as this are just attempts to portray the authors as psuedo-intellectual, enlighten...
Uggghhh...
If you're able to then get both. If you only have one platform, get the respective game for it.
Couldn't be simpler really.
I'm fine with the controls.
I'm crap at online multiplayer - I mean, REALLY CRAP - yet I've ranked up to Colonel in just four days (around 6 or 7 hours online in total). If even I can manage it...
But, if they change them, I'm fine with that too - If it gets more people enjoying the game then I'll be all for it. Either way I will adapt to whatever system is presented to me and enjoy a bloomin' cracker of a game.
My one complaint is that the trophies weren't "backwards compatable". I'd finished the game (twice!) before Sony introduced the idea of Trophies so officially I only have around 10% of the UNCHARTED ones, even though I've actually done most of the things required to earn a lot more...:(
Yes you really DO!!;)
As much as I liked KZ2, UNCHARTED remains my favourite PS3 game, and one of my favourite games ever. The sequel can only go upwards to greater glories!!
Nope. Not one of these 'problems' have stopped my playing the game or be detrimental to my online experience in any way EXCEPT for one solitary crash, and I don't know what caused that.
MP controls feel the same to me too. It's SP where I notice quite a difference (even though I'm delusional, apparently)
