I want to see DISRUPTOR as a PSN title (can't seem to find the actual game anywhere). Definately didn't make a splash on release, but as an FPS fan I loved it.
It was a workman-like FPS.
Apart from the pretentious dialogue and cut scenes that you COULDN'T SKIP (and the fact that, personally, I wanted to play as a Mantle trooper for far longer), I enjoyed it for what it was.
I certainly didn't feel the need to jump on the "HAZE is crap in every conceivable way" bandwagon. I've played far worse both in this generation and previous ones.
As it's so cheap now, I'd actually recommend it as a fun diversi...
Wow SSJ, what an absurb comment.
TNA Wrestling isn't as 'popular' or as 'big' as WWE, but it's still WAY better. What's your point? "First is best"? I guess TITANIC takes pride of place on your DVD shelf then...
Bought this game on 'release', but certainly don't begrudge those who'll get it for free. Utterly awesome and exhilerating game that's beautiful to look at, and all of the medals take a while to get so it has longevity too.
Oh dear, how sad, never mind
See, I don't have a 360 so I go nowhere near news that features it. Why do sad haters like "News4Goons" (Ho, witty moniker chum!) troll articles about the PS3 (however useless those articles may be)? Are so really so desperate for attention?
Seems to be saying "Please make PS3 games look on a par with 360 games in adverts as it isn't fair on the Microsoft console"
MS don't mind paying to have JUST a 360 tag placed at the end of multiplatform game trailers, so they can shut up and take this (far more honest) practice from Sony.
I've always tried to cut the 360 some slack and even planned on getting one at some point (still undecided, but articles like this aren't helping), but reading bullpl...
Nobody believed the original article, so why bother with an official retraction?
...that's one of the most childish responses I could have read in relation to this topic. Please be aware of your own shortcomings before tossing the word 'kiddy' around.
KILLZONE 2 and MGS4 are 'meh'?
Okay... opinions and all that.
WARHAWK is the only one I haven't played on that list, but after KZ2 changed my mind about online multiplayer, I may now give it a go.
I guess it's like "god" and "the devil"... you can't have one without the other. When one set of fanboys go away, so will those from the other 'side'.
Amen again.
Ultimately, playing games is for fun. What the hell kind of fun is it to stand outside a room in relative safety while pouring rocket after rocket through the door to take out four or five players at a time.
Do they get a 'big man' sense of achievement out of doing that? Does it make them think they're "great players" to shoot infantry in the face from 10 yards with an RPG?
news for ya: That isn't 'skill'. I turn the damn things off when I start ...
"I've got the best FPS on the market, and that's all that matters to a gamer like me."
Amen - Do the bleating fools think their words are actually going to chamnge anything now??? The game is here, is brilliant, and I'm loving every minute of online play (and that's coming from someone who has, until now, loathed the online experience in other games)
"Forgotten in six months"??
Not by those who actually own it, me thinks.
Wow, people actively celebrating because a game in which they have no interest and no intention of buying is deemed a 'failure' in their own sad little universe...
We have some tragic, self-important 'individuals' here (and I use the term 'individual' with caution, as they all seem to be falling under the spell of the droning hive-mind that is 'fanboyism - something they pretend to find so tasteless and beneath them in other circumstances)
Okay, that's it. I'm officially done with N4G. This sad article on top of the ""CGI artist's expert opinion on KZ2" one...
We're seeing far to many bitter, jealous nodding dogs bleating with glee whenever they find someone agreeing with their narrow, childish view. "I don't own this console but I'll do what I can to rubbish both it and it's users". Fools....
Just change the name of this site to '4', as the "News" and "Gamers&...
Oh for the love of....
I think you'd be hard pressed to find blacks who think this game is racist.
In the same way, you'd have a hard job finding Muslims offended by Christmas, yet every year we have the PC crowd bleating that we mustn't be "too overt in our Yuletide celebrations for fear of offending others".
It's the WHITE thought-police getting their knickers in a knot in their desperate attempts to sound all concerned, caring and socially awa...
It's not "Nuff said" at all, as I prefer KZ2 over the few levels of HALO 3 that bored me rigid by a WIDE margin.
So, your opinion ISN'T the be all and end all, apparently.
Another one to look forward to! I've never really tackled an open world game like this before.
Because I'm a nice person, I reckon I'll be a 'saviour'. I just can't bring myself to kill innocent people, even virtual ones.
I'm a "Beautiful People" fan myself!!!;)
