I hope they put online bots back in, but have killing them not earn any XP points. It makes it easier to start my own Bodycount game if there are a few bots in there when other people turn up - If there's only three or four players in my game, it'll be missed by most people's search criteria (if they've entered 9-12 players, for example).
I certainly wouldn't want to "pad my stats"... I'm up to Lt. Colonel now through 'honest means'..
It's weird - Last time I checked Play.com, KZ2 had vanished from ALL charts and was listed as available in "4-5 days". HALO WARS was top seller while LPB topped the PS3 chart. Don't know why KZ2 was pulled from the rankings like that...

Yep. Put your settings to search for "bodycount" only and you'll find one. That's the only mode I'm really interested in too and while it was mostly "Warzone" for the first couple of days, I now find one all the time.
So do I (I'm English) - Although I never preorder because I think a game will 'sell out'. I only do it online for the convenience of getting the title in the post rather than traipsing to my local crappy game shop (now Woolworths has gone:()
Exactly what I said and I agree: Bots online but not XP points seemed the fairest way. Those abusing the system would still be stopped but I could still play my game how I wanted (the point of buying KZ2 in the first place, surely!)
I start a Bodycount only game now and NOBODY joins, with me wandering a map for five minutes before giving up. Because I can't use Bots now it's TS for me I guess. I don't give a damn about my stats - I'm working my way up to Lieutenant now in oth...
I also agree - I've paid the same as everyone else has for this game, so expect the same package. If I don't have the time or, yes I admit it, the skill to unlock everything then I'm not getting my money's worth.
Also, I preferred "Bodycount" matches alone, not the whole Warzone spectrum (which is fun in limited doses, but not for the long term in my case). It was great that I could set up a BC game with three other real people and 20-odd bots, but now I can't.
If the SKIRMISH mode had let me select just the Bodycount game instead of having to play all the Warzone missions I'd be using that. Now I've got to set up my game and just wait for people to join.... bugger!

Hardly. I only wanted to play the "Bodycount" mode, but everyone else was playing WARZONE so I had to set up my own game. I was only getting two or three 'real' players (if that!) so wanted to up the bodies on the ground.
Pity a legitimate attempt to make the game more intense and enjoyable for me has made me feel like some kind of criminal scumbag.

I've suddenly lost the ability to put bots in an online "Body Count" game, which I could do easily before the patch. Coincidence? If it is, I don't know what I'm doing wrong that I was doing right before.
I initially liked LP1 (PS3 version), but found it got VERY repetetive after a while. I'll investigate the potential of the sequal and make up my mind nearer the time, but it's not very high up my "games to get" list at the moment.
Ooooh, HAWX!!! 'Bout time we got a decent aviation combat game for PS3. Presuming I enjoy the demo, that'll be my next buy now KZ2 is finally in my grasp.

Nice! As a (former) collector of Airsoft replicas I'd love that, but a recently introduced draconian UK law means that even realistic replicas are banned from public sale now. Couldn't have it imported even in the unlikely event of winning it....

I have two PS3 accounts (one European, one US) but nothing for my PSP. Don't know how widespread this practice is though. The Euro-only KZ2 demo may have made a few US owners create a second account.
I agree on the shotgun - Personally I never use it, but it's a pain that people seem to be able to kill me with one shot from quite some distance away when it's supposed to be a CQB weapon.
