I'd want to know who was cheating. Name and shame 'em in some way then they won't be so keen to strut about with their falsely obtained ribbons.

Amen! I'm starting to get really jaded by KZ2 online now. The game is as brilliant as ever of course, but as more people rank up and unlock the Assault Class, more and more rocket spammers are going online. I was in a game yesterday were the ENTIRE opposing (Helghast) team were Assaults. Not only is it a lazy way to get points, but even when you're not being killed the screen is shaking with explosions so much the game is unplayable. Needless to say I quickly left.

I don't even know what 360 'features' there are as I don't own one. How I can be "jealous" of something about which I have no knowledge is beyond me.
All I need to know is if I can play great games and, despite desperate anti-Sony propaganda to the contrary, I CAN!!
Checked the UK store at 7.00pm and even though there was an update, there was no sign of this trailer. As it was an American ad, that makes sense though. I'll have to try my US account tomorrow...
People can start a game and omit the Medic class if they want. Getting nasty because a Medic is doing his 'job' seems a bit unfair - They're just as under pressure and need to make quick decisions as the rest of the character classes.
I also don't get how, even with 'friendly fire' off, when I start to cook a grenade and get killed, the dropped grenade can kill a team mate. I lose a point (or two, can't remember) and earn some animosity in the process.
Sure they could get KILLZONE 2 to work on the 360, but I'm pretty sure the compromises would mean the removal of what makes it unique.
If John Carmack has to make compromises to get RAGE working on the system I can't see this being any different...

Well, Sony didn't 'hype' it as anything other than another FREE update, so what's the problem?

Doesn't really matter anyway. KZ2 is a "generic cookie cutter" FPS that can't hold a candle to their precious HALO 3, so no 360 owners want it anyway apparently.
I loved both, but prefered the atmosphere of R:FOM. The sense of decay that the game managed to convey in SP, along with just how spooky the deserted towns were, was far more pronounced than in the second game I thought.
I tried the first game but found it a bit dull. Won't be getting this on any console.

I'm afraid that buying another PS2 at this time would seem too much of a retrograde step for me. I prefer just the one console I can play PS1, PS2 and PS3 games on.
I don't know. There's such a HUGE PS2 base out there that guarenteed backwards compatability could be a major selling point if advertised properly.
Personally, if anything happened to my 60 Gig launch model I'd really miss the option to play my PS2 catalogue. I tend to stick with my FPS collection (Black, Half-Life, Urban Chaos and Killzone mainly), but I have over a dozen other titles I play on occasion.
It's a really fun & addictive little game but it's tough (for me at least) to get the silver medals - I barely scrape in the bronze to unlock the next level!
Still, the difficulty will ensure longevity.
Yeah, I remember him from KZ1 'escorting' me (as TEMPLER) for a few minutes before losing his bottle and leaving me to go on my own... the bugger!!!
I would have thought anybody with a bc PS3 (which are no longer available new) would have transferred their saves a while ago.
Still bad news though. Hopefully there'll be a quick fix. Pity about the pathetically emotive image used to accompany the story.
