Even if the next gen started tomorrow, it would be at least a year, maybe 2, before I became an adopter. I love my 360, I have a great time palying (insert any game here), and see no reason why we need a new generation before 2013.

My 360 is on an (minimum) average of 12 hours a day. I might watch an hour of Television a week. Gaming, and the quest for gaming information leaves little time for the boob tube in my life. I think the Nielsen company, and its current methodologies, is becoming antiquated and less relevent year over year.

It is fun to participate the the game of what ifs. It would not surprise me if MS had plans along those lines; however, I Think MS wants a dedicated channel with first run content. Also, I believe the deal with Hulu+ is still forthcoming, and I expect (read hope) it to hit with the spring update. If Hulu+ does hit, I will be one of the people to send my cable television packing.

Its a better designed controller, more ergonomical to use, and with much better thumbsticks; therefore, it makes complete sense to use (massive opinion incoming) the greatest controller ever made. If its true of course.

My family and I have had thousands of hours of fun on the 360, so yeah I got a great deal.

No offense to the Sony crowd intended, but I wouldn't use the PS3 if I were given one. However,I would sell it to someone that would want it. Just like many of you refuse to buy anything made by MS, I refuse to give Sony any of my money ever again(unless its a movie). So many of you are so quick to disregard the 360, never willing to acknowledge that Microsft has actually accomplished something remarkable for a 2nd console company. Alas, I do realize that fairness and fayboyism are not mu...

DOH! As a matter of fact I did cross up my fairy tales, and thanks for bringing that to my attention.

I look forward to what they will be bringing to the 360. A teaser at E3 would be awesome, but don't expect it.

Kinect was released in November 2010 as a platform rather than a peripheral. As many gamers know the first year of a platform is not its best year. Just compare the launch games of the PS3 and the 360, and its easy to see the graphical fidelity differences from launch to now. I really believe that great experiences are just waiting to be developed for the Move and Kinect, but learning the nuances of any new platform takes time, and the more time a developer has with a device the better it is ...

That tracking looked pretty accurate. I can't wait for COE. I love how you are being a subtle a$$hole, that makes it seem less a$$holish I guess. :D
Actually The creator has stated several times he does not have a Move development kit; although, I am not sure if that is still true. The underlying truth is Kinect is a fun generator, and no matter how much detractors naysay the device it will not change that fact. individuals have their own opinions of fun, and maybe Kinect is not ...

@HeartDisease
I disagree- If they won a bafta and made a really fun game using only 10% of a devices potential, then it could be argued they are fantastic developers.

I own one, and I love Kinect Sports, the bowling anyway (its the only one I can do). And what I love about it the most is I have the highest score in the house (244) and I am playing from a wheelchair. I can play with my kids in ways that I couldn't before Kinect, and I can't tell you how happy that makes me. I am an ardent Kinect fan, but thats does not make me blind to any shortcomings the device may or may not have. I have been gaming for 35 years, and I have played games on some g...

I understand taking a wait and see approach, but I do agree that Kinect has virtually limitless possibilities.

Kinect is more than a video camera.

Yeah, and people also seem to forget the 360 had more exclusives in 2010.

If I may paraphrase the words of the G-man "Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman. Rise and shine. Not that I wish to imply you have been sleeping on the job. No-one is more deserving of a rest, but damn you are Gordon MFn Freeman, not Rumple-MFn-stiltskin. And all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until... well, let's just say your hour will come again, but when, is the question. The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So, wake up, Mr. Freem...

I am still angry at them for killing a certain you know who in EP 2. However, that anger is nothing compared to the affinity I have for Valve. I do agree that the Portal DLC could be an option.

lol @ the plasticness of that statement

It not dense per se, just a high level of being uninformed.

I hope that was a veiled attempt at sarcasm.
