I am one of the people that bought Darwinia on the 360(day one), and to be honest I was not that impressed. I am not sure who the fault goes to in that, me for not getting it; or Introversion for not making a very fun game.

My kids and I would have loved this when they were younger. Now that they are 10 and 11, they would rather have an interactive Transformer adventure. Still we love our Kinect, and although I can't participate in many of the Kinect experiences, I can bowl, and have the house record of 244 from my wheel chair. Good luck Double Fine, I hope the games knocks it out of the park.

Some Females on XBL, especially younger adults, cuss worse than construction workers.

My son's and I love Kinect. I am happy to hear or read any news that is positive about the video game industry and its impact on the greater population, and not just gamers.

I didn't need the information, but thanks for taking the time to intelligently comment. My basic stance is I believe that people should be renumerated for the fruits of their labor, but should not be able to restrict what I do with it once they have my money.

" If we OWNED the software we bought, reverse engineering, repackaging and reselling would be legal."
Why would ownership of the software make it legal to reverse engineer etc? I disagree. I thi...

The reason I used a car in my analogy is because, I believe, a modern car is a rolling testament to man's intellectual potential and prowess in math and engineering. Cars are filled with some of the very same components found in many of todays popular consumer electronic devices. Come on, I can actually own a car filled with transistors, cpu's, Hard drives, CD/DVD players and lest not forget advanced math applied from the cars inception, but I can't own my physical copy of Windows...

I disagree. You can purchase the mineral rights when you buy a home. I think the entire license concept is crap, just like intellectual property. What about an automobile? For all of the brain power that goes into designing a car, we are not told when we purchase it that are only being granted a "license" to use the car. Where is the EULA? I think if we purchase a physical copy of a piece of software then it should be ours to do with as we please. However if we just download it, the...

That is not really a problem, as long as it has the same feature as Castlevania LOS. Which was install both discs to hard drive and you never had to swap discs.

Are you in you 30's?
And there are plenty of adults that own a 360.
In 2008 the following quote appearewd on joystiq.com " Experian pegs Xbox 360 owners at being within the average age range of 35-44, while placing PS3 users as being over 44 on average."
and this may be the most trollish thing I have ever said on n4g, but are you referring to all those adults that bought a PS3 for blu-ray? I am 40 and my friends that own a PS3 also own 360's and ...

Back in the early 80's: when I was rocking it out on a 300 baud modem, learning how to phreak, and thinking just how awesome BBS's are; I used to imagine what technology would be like when I was my dad's age. Now I am that age,and I try to imagine what it will be like when my kids are my age, and I really just can't. In 35 years we have gone from PONG, to (insert awesome game from any platform here), from actual car phones to smart phones, and to bringing the world, and all i...

If you want to be on the bleeding edge, then build or buy a PC gaming rig.

I disagree
The people you know might be finding entertainment elsewhere, but In my circle of friends (almost all 35 years or older) I can count 12, 360's and 1, PS3, and gaming is our number one entertainment choice. However, I also have friends that still prefer their SNES, and others who only play Farmville or Mafia Wars. The world is way to vast to base a world view upon the small circles of humanity that we interact with on a regular basis.

Before a new console is released maybe its time for the world economies to stop sucking monkey butt. I personally don't need a new console, I am happy with my 360.

The PC rules, however I am really happy with my 360 and my Sharp 36 inch non-HD television. I game on the 360, and I am going to, day one, support Crysis 2 on my 360, also. I say as long as what you enjoy does not hurt other, then do what you enjoy.
