Honestly I thinbk the only people that deserve to be critics are people that buy the game, and people that make games. I hold racists in higher regards than I do critics, and I despise racists.
My choice is Mass Effect. However the gloriously looking Uncharted2 is something I will never play. So I am pretty sure my vote does not count.
I am certainly not dissing those games, I just never saw the attraction. While my friends were playing Mario, I was playing Phantasie, Summer Games and other C64 games. I then moved to an Amiga which was really miles ahead of any console.

Hey, whatever you have to do I guess. Much of the joy, for me, comes from the "accomplishment" I feel from beating a game with my skill.
Nintendo has never had the kind of games I like. Although, I do not have the disdain for Nintendo cadre of games I did 20 years ago (Amiga/PC gamer), I still can't get past Nintendo's consoles being for Kids. I know that it is enjoyed by more than children, but for me, I neither get it, nor do I think I ever will.

I am still not convinced the games are better, maybe a tad prettier. However, the game I play the most per month was released in 2007, so pretty is not that big a deal in my book. I get it if people prefer Sony over MS, Ford over Chevy, blondes over brunettes, doesn't make them correct, just different from me.

Yeah in 2007 it was intermittant outages for my area, never more than a couple of hours. I truly feel for people that can't play the games they love the way they love. I hope PSN comes back for the PS3 crowd soon.
I would have to say it is a fantastic value for 1200 points. Swarm mode, is one of, if not, the hardest "survival" type modes, I have played, in any game. The AI is smart and works well as a team. I say get it when you can.
