Minus the lag, and I have had some brutally rewarding sessions with such a deceptive, and vicious, enemy to engage. I have suffered so many unsuccessful missions today, that &^%@$ *!%$# &#(&^(# have become my mantra. However its a digital crucible, that I really enjoy playing.

Halo has its share of supers players, and to dismiss the skiill involved in becoming an elite player, seems to me, to be a little short sighted. There has always been , griefers, glitchers, cheaters, squeakers, spawn-campers, average, good, and dominant players, or some assortment thereof, in any online game I have ever played. That is why I have to disagree with you; not because I am some so-called fanboy. I am a Halo fan, but all of my zeal is for TF2.

Well, to me narrative is as important as game play (as long as the game play does not suck). However, I do understand your view, but I have faith that the developers are smarter than I am, and will lead Halo where it needs to be to retain its relevance and its fanbase.
Incidentally, I am a TF2 freak for my competitive FPS needs, and primaraly play Halo for the campaign.

I disagree that the Halo franchise is tired. The Halo Universe is a verdant landscape awaiting to be explored. It is ripe , and teeming with the convergent historyies of all the disparate races spread throughout the galaxy; inexorably united by Forerunners, The Flood, and warfare. So many possible untold stories awaiting a moment of creation, gets me excited.

fanboys that disallow the possibility of something, other than what they like, having merit are the worst. In that regard all major platforms have their trolls. I am an 360 only owner, and I don't feel like I am missing out on anything. I choose to game, and play online through XBL, that does not make me superior, nor inferior, to any other person. Blind fanboys suck, and that is an absolute truth.
All MS needs to do is add a 1200 point selection and I would be happy.
