Do you not have the option or desire to purchase the DLC? In the case of the arrival, I like it that it set of ME3 with such a harsh, yet required decision.
I rarely trade games in anyway, I buy what I want, and Gamefly the rest. However, I love Brink. I think it is the most challenging FPS(AI) I have ever played. I do look forward to playing LAN though, but will wait for Gamefly.
Mass Effect is the only series I have ever bought from Bioware.
I have alsways figured that since Shepherd was brought back once, he would meet death again at the end of ME3, but I hope not.
That game looks hot.
I completely disagree with almost all media that I have read pertaining to Brink. I am diametrically opposed to most of the takes on the game. Brink is neither TF2, Halo, COD, Battlefield, nor should it even be compared to any of those games. What Brink is a trip into the fantastic world of brutally competent AI opponents. They enemy uses all the tools at its disposal, to do its best, to achieve victory. The AI lay mines, put up turrets, constantly buff one another, attack in coordinated fire...
Yeah it sounds like alot of fun, and really a chance to truly be yourself in a digital space is quite compelling. For how long though is a fair question. I could see a clan using this as a pregame ready room, or recordable gathering space, the aforementioned podcasts, and really all kinds of fun a inventive ways.
Summer does not start until the Summer solstice in the USA.
I guess I will forever be in the small % of gamers that think Brink is an excellent game. That's ok with me, I might just be a glutton for punishment. And punish you, for not being team minded, Brink does very well. It is sometimes awe inspiring in what the enemy Ai is capable of IE it is coordinated, deadly, tactical, and efficient. I think through balancing (which can be done on the fly, without need of a download)and DLC that Brink will just keep improving. Here's hoping.
"It would seem, from what we've heard, that it is possible they didn't exercise due care," he said in an interview with CNET. "If you park your car in a high-crime area and leave the doors unlocked and the keys in the ignition, you are being careless when you should know better. That makes you somewhat culpable for the losses."
I can't see that being a popular statement.
I thought it was easy. The PS3 is a poweful console, that people expect great things out of, and the 360 does better than people expect.
So did I. I loved the story and presentation very much, and the game mechanics didn't make me wish I was mowing the lawn or flossing my spleen. I also would enjoy continuing the adventures of the Tripped out Monkey.
Maybe it could be a Kinect version of Infinity Blade? However, I do agree it is a big fat hint.
Wow, I guess some people do not like a challenge, and are opposed to getting their butts kicked by homocidal AI.
I think Brink is the most fun I have had playing a FPS since TF2 came out.
I like the challenge of the higher difficulty levels, but will certainly retreat if the game loses its fun factor.
Sounds kind of fun to me.
I am hoping to see gameplay for Cytek's Codename: Kingdom. Since MS really seems, to me to be on an every other year "cool" schedule, So, maybe this year will be a a "cool" year
*edited for stupidity
I would love to go to E3. I don't think MS's conference this year is going to be a snore-fest. In fact, I am expecting the wraps to be taken off some things we don't know about. Just a hunch, but I think MS is going to make some big announcements. I own a Kinect, and my family and I are excited to see what is on the horizon.
Wow.
I agree with you completely that 360 ME1 purchasers got the shaft from EA and Bioware. I love the universe bioware created, and will support it to the end, but we did get shortend of the stick. Not even an avatar item saying thanks for your early support. That's the way it is these days, which is sad.
