This entire article is pretty one-sided. I have a PC that is technically older than the PS4 and Xbox One, but it's significantly more powerful than either of them. And by today's standards, it's a mid-range PC.

I noticed this in one of the comparison videos between last gen and current gen.
It's most definitely a bug, it'll be sorted out soon.
From my experience on PC, absolutely nothing feels or seems different.
Aaaand it does nothing to improve performance.

Well, the smaller the die is, the more heat becomes a problem. That's what's limiting progress.

It has, but not substantially. I myself have an Ivy Bridge i5, still going very, very strong, especially overclocked.
Not really when you realize that Sandy Bridge CPUs are 3 years old now.
What irks me the most is the fact that I recently got a GTX 760 and it's starting to show up in recommended specs. That's the first sign it's on it's way out.
It's funny how FC2 seems better and better as time moves forward. Must be because modern games have so many faults it's easy to forgive the long drives and enemy checkpoints - which were in all honesty the only two faults with the game.
It doesn't even look half bad, apart from the character models maybe.
I'll be giving it a go again soon. I'm somewhat disappointed in how FC4 runs on my machine.
I saw a video on youtube benchmarking the game with a GTX 760 and an R9 270X. The 270X apparently won by 5-10fps with the same settings preset (Ultra).
I knew the CPU would become a problem eventually. Both companies failed miserably with the CPU.
To explain, it wouldn't matter if the PS4 had the fastest GPU on the planet because that slow-ass CPU would never be able to feed it information fast enough to make a performance difference.
Still makes me wonder though, resolution has almost no impact on CPU performance - they still could have upped the res to 1080p (atleast on PS4), it wouldn't have made ...
And not to forget that MGS is finally back on PC!

I have to agree, Assassin's Creed Rogue is a good game. Better than Unity it seems, which is ironic since most people skipped over it for that unoptimized mess of a game.
I don't like the fact that Ubisoft is slowly becoming horrible like Activision and EA are. That's basically all of the big publishers going mad. I mean, it's not like Ubisoft ever made well optimized games, but at least they were playable to an extent.
It's a sad, sad world we live in.
Especially when you can't even reach the "cinematic" 30fps.
Or perhaps the difference comes down to te 150MHz higher-clocked CPU the Xbox One has. The crowds take a huge toll on the CPU, especially that tablet POS the consoles have.
It'll come. But the thing is, if you're intent on waiting for the next gen version, get the PC version. It's bound to release sooner than the PS4 version.
I wouldn't want them to take a chance with something as dear to me as Red Dead.
