Listen to the Pope. He speaks the truth.
Doesn't make him wrong.
The tools are the ones that complain that the 360 is gimping their games, even though there's no law that says superior hardware can't have better games in a multiplat scenario. It's a choice the developer makes, not the console manufacturer.
If these developers were all about their creative vision and love for their fans then they would stick with the hardware that lets them express themselves to the fullest. But they aren't all about that....
If it's so obvious, then exactly what changes did they make?
I guess these comments on this article prove that the author was correct. The idiots all seem to be checking in. With their normal ad hominem attacks. Pathetic.
This game was made better for the PS3. It took advantage of the storage space of Blu-ray and really showed the advantages there. It runs at a higher resolution on the PS3 and overall just seems to be the better version.
The technical limitations of the 360 being apparent, the things that one would expect to b...
Sony does not own Insomniac. Sony funds the development of the studio's games, making them second-party. There's nothing stopping the studio from producing games for other consoles. I doubt that legally we would see any of the Sony-exclusive titles go to other platforms. But I doubt there's anything preventing Insomniac from making a new IP for some other platform.
Me, too. The first game is a lot of fun. When I want to blow off some steam I just go at it Dynasty Warriors style. Zombie after zombie, they just keep coming.
So I wonder when Sony will cross the line into second place? When it comes to install base there's no handicap for a late start. At the rate this is moving it will take months to years for Sony to come out of last place. The only way Sony or Microsoft will catch the Wii is if Nintendo stops selling it.
The monthly numbers are just the battles. If there's really a war here, the winning number is the bottom line.
Probably should answer that for all territories. Who is currently leading in the other two?
Looking through the archives on Nintendo Everything the Wii took Japan over the last 4 weeks according to Media Create. In only one of those weeks did the PS3 come in first, but that wasn't enough to take the month of February.
Does that leave Europe with the PS3?
So that means:
Nintendo - 1/3
Sony - 1/3
Microsoft 1/3
Still tr...
What in this article says America is more important than anything? People are so sensitive. NPD only deals with America, that's why it's only about America.
Sheesh!
Yeah, people should always be angry when they're given something for free. That's the appropriate way to react.
Seems to me that the first Final Fantasy I played was on a Nintendo system. Same for the next. And the next. So this whole "Final Fantasy is a Sony thing" crap is utterly ridiculous. Unless for Sony (not Final Fantasy) fans, the series begins with Final Fantasy VII.
Seems a lot of people have trouble understanding that there are Final Fantasy fans that, for whatever reason, own a 360 but not a PS3. Being a fan of Final Fantasy shouldn't mean that you have to pledge an oath of loyalty to Sony.
And for those preaching "Sony faithful" out there, it's possible that if the previous Xbox were as big of a competitor in the last generation as they are in the current generation that the exclusivity may have ended a decade ago. I guess it's ...
Yep, there's the fan response. Just shows how classy some fans can be.
Very clever headline. Makes me chuckle.
Great points. Bubbles up!
Must be credible since it uses vgchartz to determine the worldwide numbers. Vgchartz is always credible when the PS3 is beating the 360, but it's pure LOL GUISE when the PS3 is behind. And nobody stops to give the Wii its props for consistently outselling them both.
vgchartz was the main source.
You know what they say...vgchartz is only accurate when the PS3 is winning. Well, I don't know if that's what they really say. But it sure seems like it.
I find it odd that a dashboard update like this would have been installed as part of a console repair. I wouldn't think those folks would have access to stuff that's still in development.
What in the world did being "on a western console" have to do with it?
