It's easy to see who read the article and who didn't. What's funny is that the article is poking fun at so many of us. And we deserve to be picked on a bit, so it's all good. Some pretty good points buried under the nonsense.

I'm using Firefox 3.6 right now. Are any of you looking at my files?

I don't know. The tech demo I saw the other day was pretty good stuff.

I don't think that Nintendo's lack of HD is really hurting them.

Unless some good samaritan bought up 60 million Wii's and destroyed them all just so you and I wouldn't experience the eye bleeding that comes from having to see 480p visuals. I don't think that's what happened, but you never know.

I'd withhold the "it will bring better content" part. Maybe from Sony, but third party / independent developers are going to struggle with this just like they have the Wii. Motion control is not part of the formula that most developers seem to create games by these days and they don't know how to do it any differently.

I want this to succeed because I think that there's so much potential. But so many development shops aren't able to do the kind of out of the box thinkin...

I think that the interaction with PSEye makes Move a bit different from the Wii controller, and so does Natal's camera. But let's face it. Both Move and Natal are hitting the scene to try to get a piece of the motion-controlled pie that Nintendo's been eating for the last 3 years.

I think that it makes sense, because there's a market for it and there's no shame in trying to get a piece of the action. But to somehow say that Nintendo's success hasn't influenced Sony's technology ...

Wait...PS3 exclusive-related article? Um, isn't this a sales chart article? As in, related to all of the games on the chart? Sure GOW3 is dominating it, but that's about the extent of the PS3 exclusive part. I could be wrong, but I think it is ok to talk about all of the games on the chart.

God of War 3 was long-anticipated, so I don't think anyone's surprised by the charts. Good job on this one!

This is a cool rumor. My PS3 is sorely lacking in Twisted Metal mayhem, so I wish that they would just go ahead and do it. I love me some Twisted Metal!

Something tells me that this isn't it. If it were it would be rather anti-climactic. I think that it is actually something else. Just my opinion.

With all of the gestures and QTE's in Heavy Rain it seems like something made for this kind of technology. I'd like to see it retrofit.

Death makes a good point. "Best" is completely relative. The PS2 was a massive success not because it had the most powerful, well-built hardware. By PS3 owner's current standards the early PS1's and PS2's were shoddy at best. But Sony made sure there were awesome games for people to play and the things flew off the shelves. I loved both PS1 and PS2 to the point where I would turn my PS1 upside down in order to play Final Fantasy VII.

In terms of best console this genera...

Some folks must be incredibly conflicted by Pachter's stuff now. He's giving props to the PS3, but people who are rabid PS3 fans are always ready to hate him. It's like the convergence of matter and anti-matter. I hope nobody divides by zero.

I think the Kevin Butler stuff is funny!

It's a possibility that Natal is a 360 with the motion camera built-in. I don't think it's an unreasonable assumption. The thing is that it would probably limit where you could put it, ie. it's easier to move a camera from place to place than the whole console. I guess we'll see!

Vista became a much better operating system after the first service pack. The first version of Vista, with it's paranoid security system and kung-fu grip on the ability for applications to save their state data, was a nightmare to navigate. But the current version of Vista is a decent operating system. They only thing I wish they would change is their side-by-side installation model that eats the hard drive.

Microsoft hasn't been an innovator since they released Windows. They made their fortunes with Windows 95 and Windows NT all of those years ago. After that they just started buying all of the new and exciting technologies, not inventing them.

What companies like Google, Youtube, etc. have done is take something that people are already using, the internet, and innovating on top of it. Microsoft is still buying companies to try to catch up. Bing may be an exception, but I'm not con...

I've never had doubts about the technology. My doubts are whether the developers are going to be able to do cool stuff with it. I'm sure Sony and some of their first-party studios will do some awesome stuff, but I have my doubts about third parties.

Heh...Power Glove. That was high-tech for the time, wasn't it?

That's a pretty cool tech demo.
