I seriously doubt that Kojima is as interested in the amount of money his game is going to make as he is in the artistic quality of the game. You can't necessarily create the same painting on wood that you can on canvas, and you can't get the same color depth with watercolor that you can with acrylic.
Konami corporate is interested in making the money, but do you seriously think that there is any way this game isn't going to be a bestseller? It is easily going to have a 25% or ...
Because the press release I read said it was a price cut.
I have a feeling that the Motorstorm bundle is just there until the 60gb ones are gone. With the pack-in they get people to pay for the more expensive console. Once the 60gb ones are gone there's no need for an incentive.
It isn't as if there isn't already a ton of FPS games already on the 360. Besides, I wouldn't want to be an FPS competing with Halo in the 3rd quarter.
Only lawyers benefit from class action suits.
So I don't see why not. If there is one thing that Sony does that I don't like, it's that it adds new features to subsequent models that current owners can't use. Like they did with the progressive scan output on the PS2. I would like the video output, but I'm not going to buy a new PSP for it.
The Star Wars bundle was fairly cool.
So I wouldn't count on a 360 version. Who knows what will happen to the franchise now that Kojima is done with it. That trailer rocked and the game is going to move systems next year.
Man, that was awesome! Metal Gear was never my favorite franchise. But that crazy fighting action was too much! Looks like Kojima's going all out for his last MGS party.
Too many shooters. I'd like to see more adventure and platforming.
I thought the trailer was awesome. The PS3 is finally getting the attention it needs.
Then when they do something different it is more of the same. I welcome party games to the 360. This shows that they are serious about taking the Wii on for family entertainment. There's a lot of money to be made by catering to the casual gamer.
I'm glad to see this. I hope this type of thing spreads throughout the industry.
I would like to see some new reasons. Hopefully Sony's conference today will give us those reasons.
Let's all jump to it! You know, if they had been showing the final version of Assassins Creed I could see all of the complaining. But they are showing a pre-release version. We don't even know for sure if it is beta. If you take it for what it is, then it looks good.
Reserve your judgement for when it is released. Right now you're complaining about nothing.
At some point all 360's are going to have HDMI. I imagine that it is more costly to produce two hardware configurations than it is to produce one, so the differentiating factor between Elite and Premium is going to be color, hard drive, and included HDMI cable.
And the new color for this SKU is bad. I know they were trying to make it look like Master Chief's helmet or whatever, but seriously. The camo-green would have been better with black accents than gold ones. But that's ju...
I have no doubt that this one will sell out like the last Halo Xbox. Regardless of how ugly it looks.
Please? I really don't need Sonic since I have it on probably 3 collection discs. But one of my favorite Genesis games was Revenge of Shinobi.
I guess I'll have to keep waiting.
My 12 year old daughter and 9 year old son both want me to let them play Crackdown. But they're just too young.
Your 2 year service plan is going to kick in at the end of your 1 year warrany. It is not going to start after 3 years. The 3 years only covers the red lights, not DRE's or any other failure. My 2 year service plan kicked in on July 1st of this year, and I sure haven't seen anything telling me that it has been extended like I did when the warranty went to 1 year.
The Elite should never have been introduced at $479. Granted it is a nice upgrade to the Premium, the features of the Premium 360 just don't seem to be worth $400 18 months into the game. Microsoft should have dropped the price on the Premium SKU and dropped the core SKU completely so that the Premium sold for $299 and the Elite sold for $399.
While we're on the subject, Microsoft needs to stop selling that 20gb hard drive for $100. It just is not a value, and everyone knows it...
Crazy Taxi on Dreamcast is freakin' sweet! I don't know why people diss the Dreamcast so much. It had some really good games.
