I don't have a single DivX or Xvid file. Where's a good place to download some to see what this is all about?
Vista is a disappointment. I think that XP SP2 is the best version of Windows yet.
Microsoft is not neutral. They have been involved in HD-DVD from the beginning.

If Microsoft works hard they can match these great results.
This isn't the only comparison video on the internet.
When I get my 360 back I'll do my own comparison. So far my observation is that the 360 consistently delivers brighter, more vibrant colors on multiplatform games. It happened that way on Assassin's Creed, too.
So far I've only played the demo on the PS3 and it is very fun. I'm looking forward to trying it on the 360. I really do like having a choice between platforms.
Nothing can stop the fanboy approval machine. Not even the N4G posting guidelines.
felman, dude, that was a joke.
That's not the case at all. American game development is evolving at a faster rate than Japanese development. I would go as far as to say that Japanese development has matured to the point where it pretty much isn't really changing much.
What Japanese games have been setting the the new generation on fire? Most of the ones that everyone says are the best haven't even been released yet.
If they really want to win they'll drop the prices of movies.
I'm looking forward to Mario Kart. Mario Kart games have always been great fun.
Apparently a lot of the kids around here don't realize what Nintendo did for video games. I doubt there will be a Wii 2, but if Nintendo creates a new system it certainly won't have traditional controls. I don't know why people beat on Nintendo. They've consistently done it right since the 80's.
About the only thing that Gran Turismo and Burnout have in common is that you drive cars. The similarities pretty much end there. I like the Burnout demo a lot and I'll be picking the game up in January when it is released. I'll probably pass on Gran Turismo because the simulation aspect is something that I find boring and trite.
In my opinion Sony's not very bright for touting their 2008 lineup while trying to sell consoles in 2007. What incentive do people have to buy it now if the best stuff isn't coming for another 6 months? Microsoft is smart to hold their key 2008 titles close to the vest until after the holiday season. There's a lot of talk about Microsoft not having a good 2008 in store, but that's only from PS3 fanboys who don't have much in 2007 to play. I've only purchased 3 good games in 2007 for my PS3 an...
I remember when they were all coming in 2007. I guess we'll see which ones make it in 2008 and which ones don't.
Except that without more hardware sales you won't bee seeing killer exclusives. Do you really think that there have been so many title delays just because the games aren't ready? Publishers don't want to release high-budget games without a large install base.
Yeah, when you argue with fools they only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
I don't feel bad for the people who bought the Legendary Edition of Halo 3. Apparently those people have more money than good sense. They got what they wanted. It's no different than buying a console at launch. Inevitably the price will go down and they know it, so they shouldn't get upset when that first price cut comes.
Microsoft just thought that people would buy anything Halo. I'm sure that even though they are marked down now they haven't lost any money on them. So what's the big deal? Besides, that helmet is pretty stupid. Just clutter.
Specs as a category? What a joke. Specs are useless without software to follow through on them. In a year we haven't seen specs make a difference at all. The Wii has the lowest specs and is selling like hotcakes with some of the most fun games currently available. The PS3 has the best specs out there and so far has not been able to best the 360.
As owner of all 3 platforms, I have to agree with the article. The PS3 is rapidly catching up, but so far it is not the best experienc...
