Yep. Except most PS1 games are utterly unplayable due to the lack of L2 and R2 shoulder buttons. Go Sony, give the players most of a really cool feature!
How would you know? It isn't even out yet. It might suck.
Sounds a lot like what Sony did with the PS3 in the US last Christmas. They resupplied a week or so before Christmas and people's dreams of quick cash went up in smoke. I think it's hilarious.
I'm glad they took the time to clarify. I'm looking forward to the game. My only concern is over which version I'll buy.
Why do people always go looking for internet drama? Why can't they just leave well enough alone?
My guess is that the downloadable Xbox games are going to feature achievements as an incentive to get someone to buy them for the second time, so Xbox games will need to show up somehow.
Is there an adult that is going to be charged because the teens were drunk? This is just negligence all around.
As opposed to teens in their non-teenage years?
Nobody has secured 2008. It is going to take actually releasing these long-promised games to make that happen.
I really love Dead Rising, too. A lot of people gave it a bad rap, but it was a really good game. It's hard to believe that it came out so long ago. It's about time for a new one.
I changed my PS3's settings and I have to admit that the colors are much richer in full RGB mode. The tradeoff is that the image is a bit darker, but adjusting my TV took care of some of that.
Man I want this game to come out. I can't wait.
The console sales don't tell the story quite like the software sales do. The attach rates for PS3 software are still really bad. UT3 selling less than 70K in the first week? Wow. I thought that game was going to kill Halo 3, but after 12 weeks Halo 3 still sold nearly twice as many copies. Unless Sony finds a way to get us PS3 owners to buy more games than movies the platform is going to suffer.
As long as it continues to drive people to their site and bring in a stream of ad revenue.
There isn't enough software selling in Japan to make that big of a difference, anyway. Unless you want to see the Wii's numbers go higher.
So much for spelling and grammar. The submission quality is going down the drain.
I'll update later and give this stuff a try.
I tried this and it did make the graphics more rich and colorful. I wonder why it isn't on by default?
Back to the old RROD standby argument, huh? You know, the RROD is only a minor inconvenience to most 360 owners. The most outrage comes from people that don't even own one, which I find funny. Mine happens to be in Microsoft's repair facility as I type this and I still agree with Loot Ninja. I can't wait to get it back.
My guess is that they didn't announce it because there isn't really any way to successfully play most PS1 games. I've been trying assorted games all afternoon. Forget anything that requires L2 or R2 shoulder buttons or the right analog stick and some games lag pretty badly.
I hope that Sony finds a better way to implement this or create some sort of attachment for the PSP that at least adds the capability to use the L2 and R2 buttons.
