Both look great to me.
I was disappointed by no Tekken in '08 as well.
It's getting rough out there.
The PS3 will be just fine.
Couldn't agree more.
I loved Sands of Time, but I've been holding off on this one. I'm reading conflicting reviews.
Does it need to be a viable platform for M-rated games? That doesn't seem to be what the Wii's demographic wants.
I don't have a problem with voice being gone considering the lewd things that you'd hear people say. Or hearing their music. It probably would be better to leave it intact for people on your friends list only, though.
I don't need to say it when you're saying it for me. Take Two Interactive lost $15 million in the same quarter that the PS3 led the way in revenue. I'm sure that means something, right? Or is it more convenient to just ignore the bottom line?
You misunderstand me. I'm not against the PS3. I paid $500 for a 60GB system a year and a half ago, so the last thing I want to see is the platform fail. But I have to call it like I see it and so far Sony isn't bringing it like they have in...
People are just looking for a way to put the PS3 in a positive light, considering the beating it has taken in the last week. If the submitter of this story had used the original headline of "Take-Two Takes $15 Million Loss For The Quarter, Half-Billion Sales Increase For Year" people wouldn't have even bothered to approve it. It just goes to show that people don't read the articles before they come into the comments section to flame.
As is stands, though, I guess that i...
I wonder why the original title wasn't used? Because if the company lost $15 million in the quarter then their strong revenue numbers don't mean a thing.
Not for me.
I'm a fan of low game prices. I'd pay $40 for MK vs. DC.
I've had one RROD on my 360. Happened a year ago, right before Christmas. It was a minor inconvenience to me. They fixed it and my life went on.
I completely agree. Most of the comments here about bias and other nonsense come from people who clearly did not read this article.
Console gaming is in sad shape in Japan.
I would wager that 90% of the Wii's current library is made of flops. Shovelware to appease the masses.
That being said, the other 10% of Wii games are awesome and I enjoy playing them. I really like the news channel, too. A lot.
I will throw out that Wii Music has sold more copies than LittleBigPlanet has, so people calling Wii Music a flop need to be careful to make sure they haven't defended LBP for that reason.
The last price cut that Microsoft made was not desperation. The console's been on the market for three years. It's time for the price to come down. Microsoft is trying to do what Sony has done for the past two generations and build the economy of scale that makes them profitable. Microsoft isn't throwing good money after bad by dropping prices, they're doing it because they can.
I'm sure I'll get disagrees for this, but pay attention in your macroeconomics classes. Then it will a...
So what if the PS3 doesn't reach 100 million? Will that mean that it loses?
This guy's perspective is a bit skewed. He makes an awful lot of assumptions in there.
