I'm on PSN and Xbox Live! Do I cancel myself out or do I count once for each?
There's a ton of speculation in this article. It actually borders on rumor. I'm surprised that it was approved as news.
I don't believe that Blu-Ray is going to fail as a movie format. Right now it is still most appealing to videophiles, but DVD was exactly the same way when it hit the market. I remember buying my first DVD's for $30-$35 each, so in that regard things are exactly the same. I'll admit that at this point there really isn't a compelling reason for people to adopt Bl...
Here we go with pinning all of the hopes for the PS3 on one game again.
How do you think that law enforcement officers catch pedophiles on the internet? By lying about their age. That's just how it works.
It only stands to reason that if there's a place where kids are known to gather that pedophiles will try to infiltrate it. I doubt there's much Sony or anyone can do about it.
The article doesn't really have anything to do with the PS3. It's about the sheer amount of new television technology on display.
Interesting article. A lot of people are going to disagree with the numbers, though.
I've been frustrated with the lack of quality titles on the PSP. I've had one for nearly 3 years now and I can't remember the last time I was excited for a game to come out for it. It's an awesome handheld. The best I've ever owned, and I've owned a lot in my time. It just lacks killer apps.
I enjoy the Wipeout games and I have Twisted Metal. But I haven't had a definitive experience on it yet.
I'll be waiting with cash in hand, too.
Back in the day EGM was the king of the hill as far as magazines go. That was before we had the internet to feed us hourly. I miss the way EGM used to be.
Not really, if you look at it in terms of 3 holiday seasons as opposed to two years, because the PS3 is now in it's 3rd year. The systems are about equal over the time span.
No need to be defensive. I wasn't bashing the PS3.
We've already had the "Xbox 360 is doomed" articles. Where were you a year or so ago? That's practically all we saw when the hot topics were Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, Lair and MGS4. Everyone was predicting the end of the 360 in 2008 because it didn't have the lineup that the PS3 did. But it turned out that they were wrong. I think a lot of that is what's fueling the discord we're seeing now.

Why? In terms of where the original Xbox went versus where the Xbox 360 is, the 360 is already ahead of where it was last generation. In its own right it is very successful based on the history of the brand. In it's 4th year with 28 million sold isn't that bad at all.
Although it will serve to fuel the flames here that was actually a very well written and sourced blog post. Miles above what we normally see here.
Is it a valid question? I think a lot of people here are tired of hearing it. But you can't dismiss that Sony is in a place they haven't been in before. They've never really been in last place. When the PlayStation launched way back when the next closest competitor in terms of raw processing power was the Sega Saturn. The PlayStation w...
I'm stoked for Street Fighter IV! Bring it on! The only question is PS3 or 360? Tough, because I have more 360 friends and 2 360 controllers. I have fewer PS3 friends and only 1 PS3 controller.
What to do, what to do...
They should use what they need to get the job done.
Bring it on! I'm ready for more Uncharted!
I've said it before, but it sounds like a problem with Volition, not the hardware. I hope they don't feel as though they are the ones setting the bar with the games they've developed, because that's hardly the case. If they're hitting a wall then they need to show their creativity and get the job done. If they can't push it any more perhaps it's the studio that's reached its limit.
Go study for the contributor's test and you'll know what's allowed here. It's already defined. No need to define it again.
I hate friend codes. I won't even put mine in my N4G profile because I don't want to take the time to log onto my Wii and write it down.
