I'm not sure why there's an argument over this. Sure the game could be done on the PS3. The real question is whether it is financially feasible to do it. The reason that so many games were going multiplat in the past is that the PS3 just didn't have the user base to support the cost to develop exclusives. So if the developers and publishers wanted to make any money they had to port their games. I think that may be changing.

Mass Effect's a good game. I hope that more people do get to play it. Bioware at their finest if you ask me. If they could get us a KOTOR 3 I would be much happier, though.

One thing to take away from the "X system led the way for most of the year" is that it doesn't matter if you lead the race all the way up to the end, the one that crosses the finish line first wins. So 4 months essentially wiped out the lead for the battle for second place.

I find it funny that VGChartz is bad when it is anti-PS3 but it is perfectly acceptable when it is pro-PS3. The PS3 clearly is not a flop, but it certainly hasn't lived up to the reputation that previous generations of PlayStation have set for the brand. Comparing PS2 to PS3 will show that.
It's still cheaper, though.
If you plan on going online then it isn't as good of a value as a Pro 360 with the HDD. Then you also get the HD cable and you can get online right away with a wired connection. If you want wireless then it's a toss-up, right? With the PS3 edging because there's no cost to play online.
My whole point is that it's all subjective.

The Xbox 360 is cheaper. The PS3 is the better value. Why is this so difficult?
It's terrible for the people losing their jobs. I never cared for Circuit City. It never had the selection or the prices that I could find at Fry's or Best Buy. I did buy my first HDTV from them a few years back, but even that was an ordeal.
Actually, last year was an exception because many of the great games for Q4 2007 slipped to Q1 2008. Not that I'm complaining. I bought a lot of good games for the PS3 last year.

This is actually a pretty pathetic blog post. The old ad-hominem "Microsoft just got too greedy" is funny considering that this is a third party game published by a third party publisher. There's nothing holding it back except Square-Enix, so I think that it is more accurate to say that Square-Enix "just got too greedy."
