If there were a button to make people stop being idiots online you'd never see anyone online. The internet is 97% idiocy.
I haven't played a Final Fantasy beyond VII. It surely isn't the reason I bought a PS2.
I bought LittleBigPlanet upon release. The editing tools are very powerful, but designing and implementing levels is very tedious. There have been a handful of truly awesome levels that others have designed, but most of the stuff out there is just cruft.
I rather enjoyed the levels that came with the game and without the ability to create your own levels I still think that it would have been worth it, though. Especially with the ability to play online with friends.
That definitely sounded angry to me.
Only once have I had Gamestop try to sell me something open as new. They said that it had never been played, but I told them that it had been opened and I wouldn't buy it. So I went next door to Target and bought a shrink-wrapped copy.
I don't know what the solution is for them. I've seen places that have plastic placards with the artwork on them that people can pick up and take to the counter. There has to be a solution other than opening new copies.
Man I miss my Turbografx 16. Bonk's Adventure, anyone? R-Type? Ahh, the good old days...
Lame April Fools article. I nearly chuckled.
Now the browser fanboys are at it. I've tried Chrome and I didn't like the fact that there was no plugin support. When it gets reliable adblock, which I'm not sure it will since Google's whole revenue stream is ad-based, then I'll use it.
I would think that the purists would see the similarities between the corporate juggernauts that Google and Microsoft are.
If Sony can make Home fun then it might be a killer app.
You just described the majority of movie-based franchises. There are a few exceptions, but for the most part that's what everything based on a movie is like.
The guy is kinda like the Michael Jackson of video games.
I found the article interesting. Nobody's going to know for sure whether the costs associated with the 360 or PS3 will ultimately end up being losses, so it's too soon to include them.
I'm starting to think that the Wii is beginning to slow down because most of the people willing to buy one at the current price already have one. So if sales continue to decline the next move will be a price cut. Either that or Nintendo will finally start releasing games people want to play and entice more customers.
I have to admit. As far as MMO's go it has longevity. I think it's like an ugly date. Fun to play with as long as your friends don't see you.
And if Microsoft were to be held to fixing absolutely anything for three years then so should the other manufacturers.
I agree with you. Yeah, it sucks to have your console break down. My first Xbox 360 got the dreaded RROD, too. But when it broke Microsoft handled it quickly and professionally. I also carry the extended service plan on my console, which I'm happy that Microsoft offers to their customers. I'm much less impressed with Sony's "one year and that's it" approach to warranty. My PS3 has been out of warranty for nearly a year and there's no way to extend it through the manufacturer. If the...
Sometimes the jokes just write themselves, don't they?
I'm not sure that this is really news. Flaming and mudslinging, maybe. But by now everyone here should know the terms of the 3 year warranty.
Kushan is my personal hero of the day.
I don't know that one has necessarily beaten the other. They're both doing well. Right now the 360 has a larger installed base, but the PS3 isn't doing too bad considering the price.
