I liked the blades better. Simplicity is good.
You can't lose something you never had. If Sony cuts the price they will not lose profits. They may not make as much revenue, but profit and revenue are not the same thing.
If Sony cuts the price on the console and as a result they see a 20% to 40% spike in software sales they'll probably make up any revenue shortfall that a price cut caused.
Wow, and I thought that the argument was settled. The last developer link posted said that the 360 was maxed and that the PS3's power could never be fully utilized.
I'm so confused now.
Somebody hold me.
It's a good thing that Wiki's are always 100% accurate and trustworthy sources of information. This should settle the arguments once and for all!!!
Bet you couldn't do that with the 40gb current 160b or 80gb. The only reason you and I *might* be able to do that with a 60gb is that they're more collectible due to the B/C and the card readers.
And I doubt you're going to get between $500 and $600 for it. They aren't going for nearly that much on eBay right now.
Apparently this topic is something folks are quite sensitive about.
Not even. I'll show you the memory card that I downloaded it onto if you want to see something physical, but I have hundreds of songs on my iPod that I don't have physical media for and I'm perfectly content. Physical ownership of media will really only be a factor if you have to pay per play, which isn't the case here.
If I can download games to my PSP-1000 I won't be buying UMD's. I don't mind buying a 16 or 32 GB memory card.
The margin on those things is so much smaller than on used game sales, though. They'll give you $20 for your used game and sell it for $50. They're not going to get a 150% markup on anything new.
I like the thought of digital distribution of PSP titles. Means I can have pretty much instant access to whatever games I want to buy and never have to step into a game store. I still have a PSP-1000 and I'm a fan of this approach.
Wow this story is misleading, but I think unintentionally so. This is just marketing spin.
So being able to wave your hand around in the air in a 3D space gives you the ability to do more than move your entire body around in a 3D space? You're kidding, right?
Project Natal is a great concept. I'm not convinced that developers will be able to make good use of it considering the dearth of good Wii games. But the product and the presentation of Natal were polished. It offers more than waggling. It offers face and voice recongnition as opposed to just being able to follow ...
The first game did have an amazing story. Some of the legwork got repetitive, but it was still satisfying.
If the production value of Assassin's Creed 2 is the same as the first it will be a first day purchase for me.
LMAO! That's awesome!
I see all of the internet engineers showed up. For having so many experts here I'm curious why none of them agree.
I'm glad that Sony is putting some muscle behind the PSP. For the first time in two years I am looking forward to new PSP games. Sony's PSP coverage at E3 was amazing.
I think it's funny that people are saying that MGS: R is going to be bad because Kojima isn't directing it. It is still going to reflect upon him if it isn't up to snuff, so I'm sure it isn't going to be substandard. I don't think the guy will let the brand be tarnished for spite.
Do you think they removed that stuff? Or do you think they just never built it to begin with?
Just hang around and see how whiny the comments on this page become.
Trust me. I've worked in the software development industry for 14 years. It is extremely difficult to create a simple, intuitive interface for something that does as much as current consoles do.
It is exceptionally easy to screw up a user interface.
