I wonder who came up with the bright idea to poll fanboys in a gaming magazine about console failure rates? They probably could have done a Metacritic poll and ended up about the same. That said, my personal 360 failure rate is 50%, so there could be something to it.
Sony already decided that it wasn't when they took it out. What sense does it make to argue about it now?

Honestly, I'm having trouble finding a reason to move from Vista to Windows 7. The last Vista service pack has made it a much more stable OS, and it is already incredibly easy to use.

I missed the part of the article that talked about profits. It listed the revenues, but revenues and profits are not the same thing. Mostly I'd like to see what EA's overhead costs.

I'm hoping that this means a price cut is coming. I enjoy the PS3 immensely and the more they sell the more great games are produced. This has been a good year for games on the PS3. All but two of my next-gen purchases has been on PS3 this year and there are still at least 3 games that I want coming later this year. Seems to me that the platform is really just starting to hit its stride.
I was skeptical about this title, but with the great feedback I think I'll give it a shot. For $15 why the heck not?
I think that the Wii's core audience has shown up, and it is the people that love Nintendo-developed games. Face it, the majority of the software sold on the platform is Nintendo-developed. Third parties either aren't willing to or aren't talented enough to create games that utilize motion-based controls as the primary input.
There is too much shovelware on the Wii, and it really degrades Nintendo's seal of quality. But until third parties can develop the talent to make appealing...
Watchmen was a lock on Blu-Ray for me. I ordered it from Amazon.com for $20.49. It was totally worth it.
With the inclusion of digital copies of movies I am more likely to buy Blu-Ray than DVD now. The main drawback was that I didn't want to have to buy a pricey Blu-Ray drive for my laptop. Since most new releases now ship with either the digital copy or a DVD copy it isn't that big of an issue for me any more.
Saying that the install base has doubled is just marketing blather. Every platform's install base doubled from some point in the past over the weekend.

It's really simple. The content needed to fill up a double layer Blu-Ray is expensive, so developers aren't going to create it just because there's space available.
