I can't decide whether or not to buy the game. There are a bunch of great reviews, but also a number of bad ones. Luckily there is a demo coming out tomorrow, which will most likely help me decide. What I hated about the first one was the very steep learning curve and terrible difficulty. I like playing games for fun. That game just wasn't fun for me. The game looks solid, though.
I think you're mistaking me for POG. I own a 360, but I like the PS3 as well. I just hate it when fanboys go around bashing each others' system choice. Both systems have their ups and downs. The PS3 is not much better than the 360, but what's important is they are both amazing. Please don't mistake me for another MS fanboy. I just like to play games, and I hate it when people like you make a mockery of the industry.
It only took like 3 weeks for my 360 to return to me, and that's mainly because it was delayed in Baltimore for a while. As soon as it got to Texas it was on its way back. No problems. I wouldn't risk trying to fix it myself if I can get it repaired for free.
stop being a trolling fanboy and enjoy both consoles. Unless, like gamesR4fun, you can only afford one console and like to spend your spare time flaming game websites in order justify your purchase.

I still play Halo 3 all the time, but one thing I would love is a custom games browser. It can be very hard sometimes to get a bunch of friends together for some customs, and that takes some of the fun out of it. I'm almost positive that they are developing a customs playlist, which will be enough for me.
but I personally liked the Halo 3 art style. It was a breathe of fresh air in the flood of dark, realistic titles that seem to be flooding the market, especially in the shooter genre. It is an unrealistic game, and the unrealistic graphics suit it. Bungie could have made a realistic-looking game, they just preferred their unique art style.
Of course, a realistic looking Halo game would be very awesome as well. Gearbox would be a good choice to make the next game, as they helpe...

But seriously man, the games on the 360, scorewise atleast, are better than PS3 games. As long as MS has the better software, the xbox will not die. MGS seems like a great game, but that's about it. I'm not saying that Sony games suck, just that they aren't necessarily better than xbox games.

but there is a difference between sports fans and video game fanboys. It is possible to love games in general, not just one system. In sports, however, it is hard to be a fan of more than one team without conflicting games. Sports teams are competing, while game companies are focused on making games for us to enjoy. Video game fanboys are like fanboys of lego vs. k'nex, fighting over toys....

I was going to use the demo to determine whether or not I get the game... Oh well, it'll come out eventually. I still need to beat GTA anyway, and there's no rush to buy the game.
And it's not MS's fault, the one guy, Major Nelson made a mistake and he cleared it up. It's all good, as long as he gets the demo released in the U.S. soon.
