Of course. Not surprised by that. That's why it's hard to this N4G serious.
Nice try but the game is far from a flop.
The game is getting some good scores. Great job Ninja Theory. Well deserved. Can't wait to play it.
Like I said before, buying Ninja Theory was one of the smartest moves by Microsoft. Games looks incredible.
Perhaps some people like playing games on xbox.
Cant wait to play it. NT are solid devs. Love their games. Smart move by Phil and and Microsoft to buy this studio.
Sony has the same goal. They also want to publish on all platforms. They don't say it publicly but their actions are proving it. Neither is making any real money on the hardware. Sony just hired 2 CEOs and you don't do that if you are doing the same things you've been doing for the past 20 years. Their long term vision will most likely involve more Playstation titles on PC and anywhere else that's gonna benefit them in the long run. That includes putting certain games on xbox...
Like you said the difference is Nintendo is a gaming company. Microsoft and Sony are companies that do gaming. Nintendo can't do what they do and vice versa. Nintendo doesn't need to spend and make as much money to stay healthy. I disagree with this Microsoft destroying xbox stuff. The industry is evolving and they are just reacting to the market changes. We will still be able to play xbox years from now. Microsoft isn't just gonna throw away the millions of fans they have gaine...
You guys are hung up on xbox but what you don't seem to realize is that Microsoft doesn't need xbox to prosper in the industry. Look at how many ps5 sony has sold but yet they are putting games on PC. Just because you can sell 100 million consoles doesn't mean you will sell 100 million copies of a game. The rising cost of making games will make the hardware matter less. You will see more and more 1st party games go multiplat. It's already happening. The only difference is that...
Anything that benefits microsoft is gonna benefit xbox. Some of you forget that it's not 1st party that carries the industry. It's 3rd party that makes the industry what it is. Sony and Nintendo can't carry the industry alone. It's just too expensive. Whether people like it or not Microsoft will always be part of the industry in some way. They aren't sega and atari. They are very cash rich.
Xbox is always gonna be here. You playstation guys are the one who help keep it alive because you're always talking about it. Xbox future isn't as bleak as some of you try and make it out to be. While some of you talk about games going here and there the sinilar things are happening at sony with PC. Guess who also benefits when games go to PC. That would be Microsoft.
It's still the best for me. Couldn't care less what others think.
A game can be successful and still not reach a intended goal. No one likes to see studio closures and lost job but there's always the risk of this happening. At the end of the day the companies are going to do what they want.
How they do? Does it really matter? It's not about what we want. Their goal is to make money.
They have a reason but they don't need to give a explanation. Gamers nowadays think they have a say so in telling people how to run their company. It's not the end of the world, fanboys. Microsoft is gonna due what benefits them the most. It's never been about you. Same with sony. Some of you need to get a grip. The crazy part is that some of the ones complaining don't even own an xbox.
How dare you mention Sony! Everyone here knows when Sony closes a studio and lay off workers it was the right thing to do. Even when they bought Gaikai and fired almost everyone it was the right thing to do.
Gamers can be such hypocrites sometimes.
Like I said before, it's not just Microsoft laying people off. It's happening throughout the industry.
Xbox gamers rejoice. Bring it on Square!
"Yeah PS hasn't shut down any studios."
Now you know that's a lie.
Any game not published by sony.
