Gamepass is still the best deal out there. The service offers a lot of good games. I like it.

Xbox 360 is the GOAT in my book. I still go back and play some of the classics on it. Thanks to Microsoft for delivering on giving us a great console that will continue to cherish.
XB1 wasn't that great at first but caught on a bit late but series x is certainly not a disaster. It's still my favorite.
The thing you forget is game development cost are much higher than they used to be. Its possible to sell 6 million copies of a certain game and still not recuperate what you want or need. Gamepass subscriptions does help with some of those losses. And the thing you guys tend to forget is that just because you have gamepass doesn't mean you can buy the game. I have it and I still buy the games I want and even get them at a discounted price. Microsoft doesn't have to do the same thing...
They clearly made some mistakes last gen with the Xbox one that still haunt them today, but the series x is an awesome console. I don't see them ever matching the success of the 360 but the market is not the same today as it was back then. They have found other ways to stay competitive with software and services. They have some huge IPs they own now that the recent deal went through. They are more profitable now than they ever were before.
