Nah, it'll happen before that.
The deal is still most likely get done. It's just gonna take longer.
It's subjective. It all depends depends on what you like or want to play. If you like single player focused games then Playstation may be better for you. If you prefer open world racing titles like Forza Horizon then Xbox is the one to have. I think people tend to forget how massive the gaming market is. Sony and Microsoft only contribute a small percentage of games for the industry. It's always been the 3rd party games that sustain it.
Gamepass is a good service. Love it.
I think some of you need to take a business class because you obviously don't understand how this works.
@surgicalm
What you described above is comparable to Samsung OTS sound for tvs.
Right now, neither one is superior than dolby atmos which is why it's the preferred tech of most game developers. A TV alone can't do what a dedicated sound system can regardless of what type of dedicated sound hardware inside a console. If it did noone would buy it because it would way too expensive for most people.
I have tried it and it's good but not better than Atmos. Especially if you have a good soundbar with 7.1. The only advantage it has over Atmos is its better for headphones because it was designed for them. Hence why it didn't work on TVs when PS5 launched. You really can't get a true Atmos experience using headphones. You lose out on some effects like sounds above you. There's a reason Atmos is considered the highest standard and gets the most praise for its gaming implementa...
Sure seems that way...lol
To each his own. Personally, I don't care about sales or records unless I'm getting a cut of the profits. I just like to play my games on the best console and right now I'm enjoying what Xbox has to offer and what's coming in the near future.
And gaming in Atmos is awesome. So glad I decided to invest in it and a series x. Hopefully next Gen sony will add this feature to playstation.
The Xbox console experience is fine for me. I'm loving it. Just bought a Dolby Atmos audio setup so I can play games that support it. If I'm not mistaken, it's the only current gen console that supports it.
It's not crazy. It's just life. It happens all the time.
Visually stunning. Can't wait to play this on the series x. Microsoft was smart to buy NT.

Trust perspective? It wasn't a good look for Sony either when they did it to Sega many years ago. If you didn't know , sony used to pay to keep games off of Sega's console. Gamers can be so hypocritical sometimes.
Nobody's taking anything. People need to realize that regardless of what we want, these companies are gonna do what they want. As consumers we don't own anything. I do think that some ps fans are being hypocrites about this exclusive stuff. Sony's doing similar things that microsoft is doing but on a smaller scale. If sony could could make large purchases like this they would. Microsoft has the cash to do it right now so they're doing it. People say they dont innovate and get...
Imo The Xbox controller didnt need a lot of changes. Its good the way it is. It stills feels better in your hands than the ps5. Sony needs to try moving those analogs so they are not directly across from each other. Other than that it's good.
Doesn't matter. The series x is just flat out a better kit than ps5. It's all subjective, I guess. Microsoft has the hardware, features, services and when the Activision deal closes, an even more solid games portfolio.
Subjective
Looks like like Sony is getting a taste of its own medicine, and they aren't liking it. This deal is gonna go through whether they support it or not.
This sort of stuff happens throughout the industry. Playstation fans will deny it but it doesn't change the fact.
