I loved GW1 as well, fun as hell. Only thing I hated was lack of community. Hard to meet some people more than once with like each city/town having like 20 different zones.Found so many people jumping ship if it took too long for a group to form or if you wiped once on something hard.
Hey, stop presenting facts here. What is this, an intelligent discussion? Its hard for some people to count you know...
From what they've said, there's no real healing class.
"Here are the facts:
1. The professions aren’t dedicated healers, DPS, or tanks because they built a combat system that doesn’t allow it.
2. Everyone has a dedicated slot on their skill bar where they must place a healing skill.
..
4. From level 1, every profession has the ability to revive everyone else.
5. Players no longer have to rely on o...
Going to church doesn't make you a better person or more mature at all.
I believe this line from South Park conveys my feelings the best: "Does a bear crap in the woods and does the Pope crap on the dreams of 200 deaf boys?"

As for the topic of the article, curious if some smart hacker will be able to crack Steam Guard ...
If they stayed true to characters limits in the manga, most of the characters would be useless in multiplayer battles. There would be like 4 or so characters around the same skill level that would just own everyone else in 1 hit.
And for a great game both gamers and fans can eat up, any game based off a story and far into that story, people that aren't familiar with the series would have to do a lot of research on earlier parts in the story to understand how anything rel...
They may not have been word for word or such from the anime / manga to the game, but they were pretty close. They obviously had to adjust stuff to cater to people wanting "epic" battles and such. Hell, some of the battles would have been hard as hell to get them exactly as they were in the anime / manga. And yes, a game based on an anime / manga was made to appeal to the anime manga's fans, so sad...
Also, if you think its untrue to the series/manga, the side...
"Unless the subject material is what people already love"
Yes, the subject material is what people love.
The games you mentioned are FPS, Socom is TPS.
So, hating on a multiplat game because they extort you on DLC all the time and use the same engine because its "too hard" / "too many resources" when other developers do it and push their games, means they're a PS3 fanboy who only plays KZ? Maybe they prefer BF which is using a new engine that just looks insane on PCs and hopefully looks equally good on consoles.
"majority of gamers out there AREN'T hardcore gamers that are willing to spend the time and dedication to learn the ins and outs of a Battlefield 3 or Killzone 3"
BF3 isn't out yet, but KZ3 isn't hard at all. Just requires teamwork, skill, and a little intelligence to know you're not a 1 man army or to not just run around getting kills when you're suppose to be defending something on the other side of the map.
They said it was gonna be even harder >:)
Get it now if its not available later on. You can also make accounts for other regions if need be, as its free for anyone not PS+ users only.
Set in LA, I thought it was gonna be in Ciudad Juárez seeing as the Mexican government already banned it. Would have at least made it more interesting than an LA based setting.
It was a dash, they had it listed somewhere where that's an ability you can get through leveling up so that you can evade gunfire, or in this case dash behind someone to kill them.
Edit: "There are also tactical abilities you can use against your enemies, such as the Doppelganger (projects an image of you nearby to distract enemies) or Dash (an explosive burst of speed to evade enemy attacks)."
Medics getting unlimited self revivals and infiltrators being the "ultimate hacker", I would hope they're not serious.
Maybe he can help you learn sarcasm. You know, maybe at a site called Sarcasticgamer... Maybe, just maybe...
I'm pretty sure the guy was just joking, seeing as he wanted to let medics get infinite self revivals... Having an article on the same site called "Tim Schafer Steps Down From Double Fine" also helps to further that point...
Ever stop to think for a second about whether the article was a joke or not? The website is called "Sarcasticgamer"... And the site also has an article called "Tim Schafer Steps Down From Double Fine"...
Sarcasticgamer being so sarcastic. Jokes aside, I do agree on "let downed players know that there is a Medic nearby on the downed person’s radar." So many times people bleed out in front of me with no enemies around when I could have just revived them with more than max hp and full ammo and grenades.
