True, but taking 2 or more years tends to kill the hype for a game. Hell, look at Dead Island. With the first somewhat trailer for the game, it created an incredible amount of hype for it and its suppose to be coming out before the end of the year.

Sony won't cancel it, but I believe from a while ago, Square was putting a hold on the PS3 version since the PC version is still shit. They probably don't want to release it for the PS3 just yet when it hasn't been fixed at all for the PC and they'd just lose a ton of money in the end since no one would want to buy a broken product.
